There not going to do shit.. I am sorry, but the idea of these people would be able to get in to the capitol while session is going and had cops "Talk to them" shows me all I need to know on who side the police is on.

Police just standing in gear while terrorist climb through windows, break windows..
Well, you must've missed the footage of a perimeter being set with metal barriers and cops beating the shit out of anyone rushing in. Just reporting what's on TV.

You wanna place bets on whether the police are going to fuck shit up when they get reinforcements?
You mean how they are taking photos with the protesters?
OK, these people are not terrorists.

Like the knuckleheads at BLM protests who went beyond protest, these people are engaged in vandalism and looting. It's wrong, and they should be identified and arrested (and I think they will), but it is not terrorism any more than what BLM-adjacent vandals were doing was terrorism.
Steve I love ya but there's IEDs. They're fucking terrorists. This is not breaking the window of a 7-11. You of all people on here are smart enough to know the difference. I understand that guys standing in a rotunda taking selfies are not actively as engaged as others but if this was the Black Panthers these guys would have been mowed down by a Blackhawk hours ago. Forcing your way onto and occupying government property is domestic terrorism. It was in Oregon, it was in Michigan, and it is in DC.

CNN said it was because it did include the message to "go home". But Stephen Miller worded it exactly the way he wanted it worded.

How quickly can impeachment or 25th amendment proceedings begin? 2 weeks is way too long.

The problem is Pence has to get a majority of the cabinet secretaries to back him. Can they even vote if they are 'acting'?

That one minute did more damage than people realize. What an asinine thing to broadcast. Anything for a eyeball on a Verizon ad. The complete lack of willingness to deplatform this man is beyond me.

Violently taking a government building is also a form of terrorism. They didn't perform a sit in, the bum rushed the police and broke windows.

I think "acting" secretaries have the same power as regular secretaries, so their votes would count.

I think the bigger question is whether Pence would have the courage and loyalty to do that, and whether a majority of cabinet officers would agree.

I think an impeachment might actually have a better chance at succeeding, but since the Constitution requires a trial presided over by the Chief Justice, that will probably take more than two weeks anyway.

Hey Max, long time listener, first time "above the line" quoter. Just a quick FYI, a lot of these people are the police, therefore there's not currently anyone to arrest the offenders. Had these people been black, availability would have been better. Love the show, I'll hang up and listen.

This is the very definition of terrorism, the use of force or intimidation for a political purpose. They are there to prevent Congress from announcing Biden's Presidency. Can't get any more political than that.

So they're bringing all the reps and senators to Ft Mcnair, shouldn't they certify the election there? I don't believe there's anything that requires it to happen in the Capitol.

Watching FoxNews, curious to see their take. Might as well be CNN, same tone and info. Bret Baier saying they confirmed the strong smell of tear gas in the basement of the Capital is from the terrorists. They went in with tear gas and used it on the police.

Whatever, man.

At a BLM protest here at the end of May, four guys burned a SLC police car.

I am not okay with that being considered terrorism. If you are, good for you.
