I’d wager heavily on no contests versus forfeits. Then let win percentage decide.

I was thinking about starting Bridgewater over him. He’s awful this year and this probably saved you.

Think about the Risk Assessments that were performed at both the NFL and organizational levels.

And then think about the decision where the NFL greenlighted the Ravens to use their facilities both Monday and Tuesday earlier this week, despite the positive tests coming in.

What’s an honest After Action Report going to look like after all this?

Heh. But this is a multibillion dollar industry. Those assessments are taken and reports get written, if only to appropriately engage in the right level of cynical decision-making.

They will write up to a paragraph about not allowing the facility to be open on Tuesday when the game is on Thursday because you only back it out as little as necessary to maintain the "everything is fine" illusion as long as possible.

I guess football teams can feed off this sort of shit, but Pittsburgh has been pretty well dicked around by bad timing and the flying-by-the-league’s-ass scheduling.

Will be interesting to see what they do about the GM position and how that impacts hiring a coach. I think two obvious candidates would be Robert Saleh (a Detroit-area native who grew up a Lions fan) and Eric Bienemy. Hard to believe that Bienemy doesn't get one of the open HC jobs this offseason. He would be a perfect fit in Houston in my opinion, so he might be keying in on that job when KC's season is over. If Detroit gets someone in as GM around the time the season ends, they'd have a few weeks likely to make their pitch to Bienemy at least.

Seems like the team that employed Tim Tebow should be well-prepared to play without a quarterback, eh?

I'm telling you - it's all building up to the moment the Bills clinch the division.

League will shut down 15 minutes later.

I'll argue that Caldwell got a raw deal there for the rest of my days. Schwartz built a pretty good team but they needed a calmer demeanor to lead it, and then they replaced that with a guy with absolutely no social skillz.
