That is one ugly box score.

Losing by 50 to a .500 team?

Speaking of triple-doubles, the Pistons, of all teams, had some history last night, with two players recording triple-doubles for only the 12th time in NBA history.

Man, some of Chamberlain's numbers just look like typographical errors. Scroll through his game logs for 61-62. He put up thirteen games of 50-30. Thirteen!

Confirming that Leonard has been told he doesn't need to report to the team?

a trade exception and a second-round pick for a guy who hasn't played at all -- and who I've forgotten is on the team at least three times at various points this season -- is pretty good Presti-ing.

That's why you sign three-and-D veterans. And, they can still move Leonard again, if they desire, as he is just a contract now.

Literally.

Just about half as many points as the all-time leader. That's a Hall of Fame career right there.

Well, in fairness, there is an article today about it. He's at 50% apparently.

Had to look up his Basketball Reference page. Seven All-Star games (in an eight-season span), twice All-NBA Second Team, thrice Third Team. 51st in points, 71st in rebounds, 71st in blocks, 60th in win shares. They have his HOF probability at 50.9%. His candidacy seems like it will come down to how he is viewed for being a compiler as opposed to a star, but Seven All-Star games (in a 30-team league) seems like a "yes" on its own.

I chose to watch day 2 of a draft with a bunch of players I never heard of rather than seeing Tatum put up 60 in a 32 point come back. It's been a frustrating season but Tatum and Brown look like a core of a championship team (maybe after Durant and Lebron retire).

Team has no defense or bench players. Maybe the new guy will play but there's like 10 games left and he's a shooter too. Yes tatum and brown and I like smart and williams but they're missing something. Miss guys like jae crowder and morris twin. Yeah heyward too but the whole jumpshooting/efficiency quest has killed their defensive identity.

At least I didn't praise Marcus Smart who got ejected for immitating John Stockton.
