With Brockers going to the Lions for a '23 7th, Rams and lions are 1-1 on trade front

You want to re-create the magic of games 1-6 in 2018. Not so much the rest of 2017-18...

I am enjoying how there's a little chatter about how they are now going to try to trade Foles for a 7th. Come the fuck on. If they have to do that, they need to bring in at least two QBs. He's on a small enough contract (for two years), you may as well keep him to help teach the new guy.

What a fuckfest.

Ryan Pace looks like he was a date rapist in college (and probably beyond).

I'm honestly not sure which one you're scoring a win for the Rams or the Lions. (I'm assuming the Stafford deal is your Rams win and I suppose that's arguably true, but the Lions were able to get a much better return for Stafford than I thought they'd get considering they didn't a huge amount of leverage. In any event, I hope the Rams win the Super Bowl this year and then immediately suck so bad that 2023 1st is the first overall pick.)

He looked pretty cooked last year, but rooting for him for sure. AJ Green is another supremely awesome human being.

Rams win: Stafford is eons better than Goff. Lions are going to likely screw up picks the Rams weren't interested in and Goff is their starting QB.
Lions Win: Brockers has lots in the tank and reportedly great in locker room. Though Donald still got most triple teams in League, Brockers probably helped keep number down. Rams had to shed salary and Lions used that leverage to send throwaway pick.
1-1

Did not see that coming.

Considering the fact that the Bills backup last year was Matt ("Oh God No!") Barkley, this is a massive upgrade.

Love the Sanders signing, and don;t let his gross average fool you, Bojorquez was an average punter at best. Haack is a huge upgrade.

I love Brandon Beane so, so much.

Just want to add that Trubisky's getting $2.5 million for the year.

Dalton gets 4 times that.

Just wait until you see how many future picks he sends out this season. After all, he's almost certainly not going to be around to reap what comes from it.

I guess we should never be surprised, but Watson seemed like one of the last guess I’d ever expect would do something like this.

The only upside is if this is some disguised effort to tank. Of course, that would require some future employment for Pace, etc.

I didn't read the new full complaints (unlike the first three I read), but from what they excerpted from Defector, Watson is a fucking repugnant creep. I'm angry from this. He's a rich professional athlete. If he really had this thing for masseuses touching his cock, just get a damn professional sex worker and tell her that's what he likes. It's probably the power imbalance that gets him off.

Yep, that's it exactly. It's not like there's a dearth of opportunities for illicit sex but he apparently gets off the most on making these women uncomfortable.

22 accusers seems like way too many to be some kind of a work. And not sure what the endgame of the Texans would be here (since that's where most of the accusations of any kind of scummery seem to be landing). If they're trying to get him to change his mind about being traded, getting him suspended for a year (or longer) or thrown in jail doesn't seem like a wise strategy.

I get that. I do. But, also, the attorney involved here is Micahel Cohen-esque. Doesn't make 22 woman liars. But does muddy the water a small bit.

What if it’s all true AND the Texans are involved because they knew all about it all along and were complicit in the cover up until Watson was no longer useful?

Though really they should have traded him for anything the least bit reasonable in that case...
