We made it. As a board and a country.

Figure it’s time for a new thread on where things go now. It’s a good day.

I called it for Biden early morning day after Election Day. We got this . The Cheeto is about to get on the helicopter of shame so I think we are good to start looking ahead now.

So glad my retirement certificate won't have Donald Fucking Trump's name on it.

Also loving conservative friends act like they are sudden victims since their leader is no longer the president and they have to deal with the fact they lost. Fuck 'em, I say. Crybaby shitheel white people.

But muh unity! Libs, you so mad! Why are you tearing the country apart!?!?

Like dealing with the stereotype of that special flavor of toxic human. It's gorgeous. I hope every fucking psychotic thing they think up comes true.

just seeing the title of this thread was enough to release just a little anxiety.

i had some especially fucked-up dreams last night; i'm "working" here with CNN on in the corner - i'll be fine tonight if today just ends up being...boring.

The St Louis Blues had that as a rally song for their Stanley Cup run, I think.

With no political commentary, just the usual bored love of trivia, here's a partial list of people that once got more votes in a presidential primary or delegates at a convention than Joe Biden:

Gary Hart
Jesse Jackson
John Glenn
Richard H. Stallings
Bill Richardson
Dennis Kucinich
Pete Buttigieg
Amy Klobuchar
Tulsi Gabbard

I'm happy for him and I hope this thread is actually about him after a while.

I'd love to see an atheist president. I couldn't care less about what church service the Bidens are going to.

Better treatment of immigrants and the poor, elimination of the death penalty, maybe better environmental protection. There are worse scenarios.

(Then again we don’t need to worry as much about abortion rights.)

I should have said Immortan Joe without the compassion and humanity.

She did a damn good version at the (IIRC) Broncos-Panthers SB. Plus she did the part I prefer, when you go up and not down at the “that our flag was still there” part.
