CONFERENCE COCKSMITHERY

My numbers like both road dogs. (*ruff ruff* /DMX)

I like both home teams.

So I'm right either way! And also wrong.

Think the Packers will cover.

Can't think straight regarding the Bills game. Had a waking nightmare where it came down to a field goal and the Bills' rookie kicker missed it wide right. Some wounds never heal.

The Bills fans in my company that I've talked to this week are PUMPED for this weekend. That probably means the Bills are utterly doomed.

Finally a week where the projections don't disrespect the Browns. Second time this season.

If you had bet only the Browns games according to them, you'd have gone 7-4.

But sir, the possibility of the Browns successfully navigating to the AFC Championship game is approximately 3,720 to 1!

Buffalo sports radio is a mixture of nostalgia for the great teams of 30 years ago and people losing their shit. I'm guessing that productivity in western New York is low this week.

I'm half convinced there would be less coverage of downtown KC being swallowed up in a sinkhole than there was of Mahomes and his head this week

Vita Vea was activated yesterday. He was inserted on a 3rd and long for the Packers, and he promptly busted up the pocket, forcing Rodgers to scramble into a sack.

Aikman missed all of that. He sucks at his job.

I assume Belichick would hate to see Brady in the super bowl year one apart so that would be pretty funny.

my daughters for the first time (they've only lived here 3yrs) are experiencing first-hand the hilarious lunacy of local sports fans when a team is successful. My 18yr old last week came home from Wegmans and was like "everyone says 'Go Bills!' to each other literally at the end of every interaction." with some incredulity.

I seem to recall in the 80s somebody did an actual local study of Monday productivity following a Bills game and there was some shockingly measurable difference between wins and losses. Might be apocryphal but based on the ppl i grew up with, I believe it :D

Imaging Belichick being upset won’t make up for 2 weeks of buildup and 3+ hours of gametime of Brady fluffing. Go Pack go.

I’d say you can’t let Scotty Miller beat you deep anytime, not just with 8 seconds left in the first half of the NFC Championship game. But I’m not Hall of Famer Troy Aikman.

But especially with no time left you have to maul the guy there. You take a penalty they have to kick a FG.

It was Josh Freeman’s record he broke, right?

Ya know, for all the talk of Brady having good receivers on this team they really like to drop balls.
