Agreed. All Yankees rings this century and late last should have them due to the cheaters on their teams (A-Rod, Giambi, etc.)

It’s not really analogous because the entire sport was on steroids. Actually, it was the entire sports world; but because MLB, its historians and fans had this on-going love affair with its players’ statistical achievements, they were made to wear the scarlet letter. The government came snooping and found their scandals to link to the sport. If this were the NFL, I’m guessing the BALCO or BioGenesis scandals even occur.

I think they should just allow for sticky shit. Some guys are going to figure it out anyway and its going to be hard as hell for an umpire to police on the field. Plus, on cold nights its safer for the hitters anyway.
