If I had to guess, I would have said the NCAA cancelled basketball this year. I don't know if it's pandemic isolation or more likely that I almost exclusively watch streaming and rarely turn on cable, but I have become so removed from cultural things I don't seek out. It's really weird. 20 years ago, I was at least somewhat aware of sports I didn't follow, or movies, or new TV shows, it was impossible to not have a surface knowledge of everything, now it seems like it's a deep knowledge of fewer things. Is it just me, or are most people becoming siloed? I guess there are so many more options for content, we can seek out what we want.
