I wonder how he even came to that take. Vlad Guerrero Sr. used an interpreter his entire career, and is beloved. And Jr is doing the same.

In this day and age it would be irresponsible for a non native speaker to not use a translator for official communication.

Ichiro ALWAYS used a translator, even though it was fairly well known that his english was pretty good.

If Max Kellerman said the same about Vladdy Jr. he'd be fired. Black guy talking about Asian guy is a minor offense.

ESPN has already shown they have a sliding scale many times in the past.

Ironically(?), a Venn diagram of Smith watchers and Trump supporters would be a lot closer to a single circle than most people would think. Some people just get off on chaos/being an asshole for the sake of being an asshole.

MLB draft wrapped up today, 20 rounds. Angels had 20 picks and selected 20 pitchers, no position players. Cleveland took 19 pitchers with its 21 picks.

I mean I’m not rooting for it but someone like Aaron Judge dying of COVID might save 10,000 lives or more in the long run.

The Yankees positives are all vaccinated. They did it as a team a couple weeks into the season. Petals came in a trade so I’m guess that’s why he’s not J&J like the others.

Thought I read there's a Yankee who is symptomatic who wasn't vaxxed, and all the positive vaxxed were asymptomatic.

This was after a one hour delay before the game when it wasn't raining followed by a few innings playing in a monsoon. This shouldn't be complicated.

Fans shouldn’t throw things at players. Absolute rule. But if you said “fans are going to throw things so pick 20 players who can have things thrown at them”, well …

It's PII farming so don't reply on Twitter anywhere, but in my case I think Joey Votto would definitely draw a walk on Jack Morris.

So cumulatively speaking Adam Jones has the highest WAR, though I believe the best single season would be 1993 Greg Jefferies..

I'd take the latter's chances vs Dave Stewart.
