Regarding the unfolding murder investigation dealie, Aaron Hernandez needs to find Jesus and Ray Lewis asap, not necessarily in that order.

Pretty sure it moves more to page 1. Bengals out of control etc. narrative. That's how.Pruitt wrote:You think?tennbengal wrote:This gets covered a LOT differently if its a Bengals player involved.

Pats org gets a slight pass here, less jumping to conclusions.

Makes sense - will agree with that.
happily, this bodes ill for the Pats season. Welker gone, Gronk on the shelf and Hernandez maybe on ice. Maybe the Browns should trade them Josh Gordon?

I think in the past 7 years or so, the perception for them has switched from "All we want is men of extraordinary character" to "We'll hire Jeffrey Dahmer if it helps us win football games." Of course, in reality it's always been the latter...just like every other team in professional sports.tennbengal wrote:Pretty sure it moves more to page 1. Bengals out of control etc. narrative. All I'm saying is, whether or not you were having consensual or non-consensual sex in a public bathroom, you'd have somebody guarding the door.

I didn't. But I was really drunk and not thinking too clearly at the time. Don't remember if the door locked, though.

Now we consider why they signed Tim Tebow:Bensell wrote:It's being reported that Hernandez is getting arrested now
a) To pray for the speedy recovery of Gronkowski
b) To pray for Hernandez innocence
c) To play TE for the Pats
d) All of the above

Read on Twitter that Aaron Hernandez drove away from his house in an SUV, which prompted the following tweet from @celebrityhottub:
FIND A PAY 'N SPRAY, HERNANDEZ

I don't know. Shooting the boyfriend of your daughter's aunt in the back of the head near your house and leaving your rental car at the scene of the crime would have been just about equivalent to Ray heading back out to a Super Bowl party in his bloody suit.kranepool wrote:Ray Rae Redux?

You mean is he going to plea-bargain out in a deal to give up his friends and then spout out a bunch of BS in court so that nobody ever gets arrested and the DA is somehow okay with this and he goes on to become the epitome of everything that is right with the NFL?kranepool wrote:Ray Rae Redux?

It's not terribly interesting, but the daughter of a former co-worker of mine (actually at the same company Sabo and I worked at together) dated Hernandez at UF. I should check Facebook and see what her take is.

C'mon. Lewis pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of obstructing justice. That'll be on his record forever.
New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has not been ruled out as a suspect in the execution-style murder of a semi-pro football player, law enforcement sources told ABC News on Thursday.

I doubt it. One of the Harris salespeople stationed down in Melbourne. I worked with her after we became MediaSpan and I moved to sales, but I never interacted with the Melbourne folks before that. Her name is Dnn Aodds. Some weird reports out there about Hernandez smashing his cell phones instead of turning them over to the police. Sounds like his time in Florida really made an impact.
