It was 40 years ago today that it would have been nice if John Hinckley's aim was a little better.

“I only know that it has to do with women,” Gaetz told the Times. “I have a suspicion that someone is trying to recategorize my generosity to ex-girlfriends as something more untoward.”
Those are all certainly words.

Funny how conservatives are always for businesses having the right to serve whomever they choose until it gets turned around on them or one of their causes like anti-vaxxers.

They’re also not happy with businesses who exclude people carrying guns. Because people who enter a store have a right to protect themselves.

That's a great statement Brian. And, regarding the guns, I remember even in the old western movies, the saloons in Dodge City, Tombstone or wherever had a sign at the entrance telling the hombres to check their guns at the door.

Was picking up lunch today and three young men came in with two toddlers. All three men were packing heat. Carrying the hand guns in the pockets of their jeans and/or jogging pants. Made me feel real safe. Never know when those ladies making sammiches were going to hop the counter and lay a beat down on those guys.

So...people should not go to TN if they can help it. It's not safe. At all. Permitless concealed carry anywhere is as bad and dangerous as it can get.

Has it really turned out to be that dangerous?

We’ve had widespread concealed carry in Utah for years. Permits have been required until recently but permits were basically automatic. There have been very few shootings by people carrying concealed weapons. It’s been surprisingly very rare.

Kansas has had permitless concealed carry for at least five years, too. It hasn't turned Wichita into a modern day version of Dodge City.

They just passed the law and Memphis is dealing with a spate of road rage exchanges of gunfire, so, yes.
