I was torn on the revived Colonel Sanders pitching KFC. Kinda objected to the idea, but the spots are corny and cute. I didn't know until today that he is played by Darrell Hammond.

But they just introduced a new Colonel, and I am all in. 'Cause it is Norm McDonald.

Do you know that guy with the glasses and the beard that does those ads for Car Sense during Jeopardy? Fuck that guy.

Actually, I don't know if it's CarSense, but fuck that guy anyway.

I hate the 3 old women who sexually harass various men at the Volkswagen dealerships. Do you think for a second that any company could get away with that campaign using old men? Plus their voices are extremely annoying

I was about to call for air strikes against you for saying this, but realize that this is how I feel about Will Ferrell, who other people will defend just as rabidly.

Just noticed Ethan Embry, who played Rusty in Vegas Vacation, plays the dad/driver in the Infiniti Vacation themed commercial, (opposite Christie Brinkley as his wife). He looks old. And sort of photoshopped into the shot at the end of the commercial.

Yea, it really was. Normally I'd be watching the game on AFN so they legally aren't allowed to show commercials; however, this time I was watching a live feed via the interwebs. I haven't seen commercials in a real long time and that stood out amongst them all.

Whats up with that increasingly aggressive FanDuel guy? You get the feeling if they kept rolling next up was "Yeah I'm only 5'6. And I did get rejected by Notre Dame. So what? Who the fuck are you to talk shit to me?"

Fine, alright, I'll bang some Dane chicks. How much is airfare to Copenhagen? Or, maybe a very specialized ad for my apartment on Danish Air BnB.

He's just as annoying in the Wet Hot American Summer Netflix Show. So maybe he comes by it honest.

So is car commercials clearly ripping off a band's sound without using their music a new thing? Someone did it to Real Estate about a half year ago and now there's a new Nissan commercial "inspired by" the Pixies. That's shit.

At least not since Tom Waits. He's probably made more money from lawsuits than from record sales.
