I thought it was a great ad campaign, for the first year or so. But, they beat it into the ground long past its sell-by date. Should've moved on a long time ago.

As long as I'm already being grumpy today, let me note that I've never much cared for Kraft mac and cheese.

In Canada, Kraft Dinner (or "KD" as it's often called) has been a staple food since I was a kid. One of the first foods most kids learn to make - a standard of university days One of the stupid things that marketers have tried to push on us as being a part of our heritage. (Only a slight exaggeration)

And I hate the stuff. I've never been a dedicated exponent of healthy living, but something about the fluorescent orange powder freaked me out as a youngster, and I've never been able to get past it.

Part of that may be due to the fact that my wife craved Kraft Dinner big time during her first pregnancy. Must have had it 40 times.

Speaking of, has anyone seen this new drug ad for that 24 med for blind people with fucked up circadian rhythm?

How expensive is that drug? They showed that ad twice in primetime during Wednesday Night Rivalry on NBCSN, and all I could think about was how expensive must a drug be to justify the expense of that kind of ad time for such an infinitely small subsection of the population?

I used to wonder how/why the advertised during Francesa's show on WFAN. Its a weird one, for sure.

I just rewound (multiple times!) a commercial CBS showed (for the Academy of Country Music Awards) during this afternoon's game to verify that Luke Bryan fake ate a hotdog. He took a bite, but there didn't appear to be any portion of the hotdog in the end of the bun he consumed! I think I'm shocked just because it was so obvious.

One of the "Hoopers" commercials with Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan has Paul cleaning/waxing/whatevering a boat in the driveway. The boat is named "USS Banana".

No word on if JJ Redick was washing a car offscreen during the commercial.

I actually like hearing that brief snippet of "Buffalo Stance". Of course, I haven't been watching that much of the tournament (less than most, anyway, and I just flip whenever there's a commercial).

Anytime I see someone use a device like that with ease I just default to a mental image of me using that with poor results.

"Siri play Jerimiah"

"*bading* playing "Take Me Higher"

"no Siri, play something sexy... uhhh...play KC and Jojo."

"*bading* 'That's the way uh-huh uh-huh I liiiiike it'"

"Goddamit Siri."

Tax forgiveness commercials are some of the best on TV just because they so perfectly play to the victim complex.

"Does the IRS claim you owe them more than $10K?"

"The IRS wanted me to pay them $100K or else they would shut down my small business. I don't have that kind of money."

If I see that DirecTV/Bon Jovi commercial one more time I'm gonna strangle someone. Not sure whose idea it was to buy every single ad spot during Euro 2016 and play that commercial every time, but I hope their dick falls off and they die.

The tecate ad that keeps showing up during the Copa and Sports Center is driving me nuts. The short version of the ad makes it look like they red card the guy for the elbow not for diving.

Saw that. And I'm torn between being happy there's actually a different one to see or still wanting to kill DirecTV for buying what seems like literally every ad spot for the entire tournament.

That odd stare at the camera from JBJ in the original commercial has been replaced with a look of utter embarrassment on his face at the end of this one.

In OKC this week...just saw Jason White do a local HVAC ad. Not sure I believe his fame still carries that kind of weight. Won the Heisman and national title 11/13 years ago and had no pro career.

I'm not from Oklahoma but I believe it. Most importantly he's FROM Oklahoma. It's not like he's from Texas and won the Heisman at OU like Billy Sims.
