Pru, you and everyone here is only two degrees from separation from Krass Brothers. My older brother worked there in the mid- to late-80s, AND that's where I got my confirmation suit, along with practically every Catholic boy from or descended from South Philly.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

Hilarious!

Hope it fit you better than those suits fit Mr. Krass.

Just tonight, I’ve seen Shaquille O’Neal in commercials for Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes cereal, Papa Johns’ pizza, and The General insurance.

Is there some rule that he has to advertise every single product?

There's a great Podcast where Conan O'Brien interviews Charles Barkley and he rips on Shaq for his endorsements, basically says I'm best friends with the guy and he ain't using none of that shit. It's high comedy.

An unexpected benefit of watching the World Juniors on TSN is seeing Jon Hamm in Canadian commercials. He's doing spots for Skip the Dishes, some sort of food-delivery service. I laughed at this one, because it features Hamm wearing Pruitt's wrestling attire. Then I read the YouTube comments from Canadians who are shocked and horrified that Hamm is insulting them. 'I'm never going to eat at your restaurant again,' etc. Which would be hard to do because it's not a restaurant.

They’ve added at least two more “Rick - don’t become your parents “ commercials. They are both gold. That ad campaign remains pretty genius.

The mom’s daughter being aghast while her boyfriend gets into it and starts dancing is a nice touch too. Lots to pick through for a 30 second commercial.

Mine was when I realized they were saying “chocolaca” instead of “shakalaka” while drizzling the hershey syrup. It works on so many levels.

Way too young. I think the implication is that the mom is the same age/era as Tag Team, hence her excitement at them curating her dessert choices.

While I love "SPRINKLES", it bothers me that it is done in essentially an arhythmic way (probably because I can never say it at the exact moment).

The first couple times I saw it (and sometimes even now), I thought they started with "shakalaka" and shifted to "chocolata" about the third time/when the camera cuts to the syrup being poured.

I also think that could have been an exceptionally long day on set because it seems like they had to play the track (at least the instrumental) during filming to keep all the different parts on rhythm instead of editing to the track.

Damn, that is surprising. I looked at the Mom and thought she looks way too young. Then realized she is probably about my age, and I am old enough to have a kid the daughter's age. I would have guessed the father/boyfriend to be about 30, a little old to be the boyfriend, but way too young to be the father. I regret fast forwarding through this commercial when it came up on something I recorded. Good looking out, Swamp.
