Vaping is far and away my preferred delivery method now. I did a bong hit last night and thought I was going to die from coughing so hard.

Could be my imagination but I detect a lot more smoking of pot in parking garages here since 7/1. The casinos (some of them anyway) have some people scared shitless they'll call the DEA even in smoking rooms.

I've actually possibly reached the level in my org that I could start consuming again and they wouldn't fire me if I failed a test. Almost better than losing my virginity.

I noticed that smell a lot more on my walk the other day. I actually saw people openly selling it which I don't ever recall.

I know, it's kind of annoying me. I sent that story to my brother-in-law last night because he said the exact same thing to me outside a restaurant in Santa Cruz after we split some medical ice cream. He had his hands on his thighs and took five really exaggerated steps and with each step said "I.....CANT.....FEEL.....MY.....LEGS"

One of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Las Vegas rideshare drivers getting kickbacks from dispensaries (as the story indicates, this is a widely used, accepted practice in bar/strip club industry here).

Of course, Las Vegas would have to have the largest dispensary in the country.

(Kind of interesting and smart move for the Paiutes too. Give them credit. With casino gaming not an option to raise money for the tribe, they have some nice hustles including a sweet golf course northwest of town and a smoke shop/gas station with prices dirt cheap since they don't have to pay taxes. Wish the story said if they'll be able to have lower prices because of not having to pay certain taxes. Probably not.)

I still have 4 full years before I retire. But I'm seriously thinking that Nevada might be the landing spot when I'm done with this military thing.

Between the pot acceptance, the climate (no humidity), and the stuff that I can do there, I'm very sure I can collect my retirement check, my VA check, go back to school (probably culinary because WTF not), and have a part time job working at Costco checking IDs. I'm technically a Nevada resident already, but man, it just seems like a good idea even if I weren't.

But like I said...4 more years.

Good VA health care here too because of Nellis. My buddy from bowling who is an Air Force retiree always raves about it (except that most of the facilities are on the east side by Nellis.)

Oh, and I can bring my guns too. Huge factor, that. Everything seems to align with how I want to live in that particular state.

A group of 2.4M veterans is pushing the VA to allow medical pot

Fingers crossed. But it's progressive, so hopes aren't up.

Would probably do wonders for guys with PTSD. But yeah, it's literally impossible until marijuana is re-scheduled and that'll never happen under this administration.

Bought a oil vape pen yesterday because a dispensary in Hendo was giving them away along with 50 percent off your first cartridge and that shit is no joke. Took one hit and I'm a little looped. Might go this route more often since they're easier to sneak a hit off in a casino or out and about somewhere (that allows smoking).

Seconded. No weed smell, no bag to carry, easily concealed.

Some tourists just stopped me on the street and gave me a couple bottles of gummies because they were headed to the airport. Day is looking up.

That's great. Must be some good karma points cashing in on your behalf.

In less positive news, it appears that the California state, county and city governments can't get out of their own way. Even though voters passed a referendum allowing retail pot sales, starting January 1, 2018, it appears that no local municipalities will be prepared to allow such retail establishments to operate by that date. Feck.

That's easy to take on. I made it back to Texas with some chocolates I bought during our layover in Seattle.

I got hooked up in Kauai, and made sure I smoked every last bit of that before we left. I leave nothing behind. I was out about 30 seconds after wheels up.

Am I the only person it takes like 50 tries to finally get those little plastic nubs off of new vape cartridges? Or is there something wrong with my fingers?

(Also I just realized Bensell started this thread and got a little sad. RIP, buddy.)

Most convenient place would be Essence on Las Vegas Blvd. Right at Sahara and LVB. Though pretty much any of the dispensaries near the Strip should be fine. Some will pay for an Uber R/T but I don’t remember which ones.

It's probably mostly for medical purposes. I'm sure it gets used by non-medical patients, but that's most of the rationale.

I've seen those. But for someone like you or me if you really want to take something edible, just makes more sense to eat a gummy (or something like that).
