Re: LinkedIn
Apparently so, which I agree is weird. And they apparently have paid Microsoft, because they actually include a checkbox to enroll and get a free year right in the form you fill out when you're leaving Microsoft. I really have no idea what the alumni group entails, but I guess I'll see.
Totally Kafkaesque

It's just like college, they call you 20 times a year asking for donations.Shirley wrote: ↑Thu May 17, 2018 6:00 pmApparently so, which I agree is weird. Re: LinkedIn
It's not a secret club. I was a member for a bunch of years after leaving because of access to the company store ($10 copies of top of the line Office, Visual Studio, and deep xBox discounts made it a deal).

Re: LinkedIn
Getting close to walking out the door of Microsoft for the last time. It's a weird feeling. I really haven't changed jobs too many times in my career. I think this is only the fourth time I've left a company. Only the second time in 21 years.
Totally Kafkaesque
Re: LinkedIn
I think LinkedIn's algorithm is a bit off.

Re: LinkedIn
I'll ping my nephew. I knew he worked for LinkedIn, but didn't know doing exactly what...he's the project manager for the team that finds all the shit that makes FB a cesspool (misinformation, thinly veiled Nazi shit, etc.) and nukes it from the platform.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Re: LinkedIn
Shared stories on LinkedIn are a totally different kind of hell.
You know what you need? A lyrical sucker punch to the face.
