54 million a year - that's about 150,000 per day. If it's open 15 hours per day, that's 10,000 per hour, or 2-3 every second.

Could something like the Eiffel Tower / Louvre / Vatican even handle that kind of crush?

Could it be the Great Wall? Do millions of Chinese people commute through it every day?

Or a train or subway station?

I'll guess Shinjuku in Tokyo.

It's not a landmark in the traditional sense. It's also something you'd physically go inside so just seeing it would be pointless (still not anyone's mom, though). Not transportation related either.

The population of Tokyo's prefecture is "only" 14 million; metro area is 37 million.

Yeah, plus I got the "per day" and "per year" numbers mixed up in my head. So never mind.

His mom is the one who changed their names. I think Crooks was his dad, his mom was something else and then she converted when he was still a kid.

Makes sense. Still, kinda crazy that I was listening to a podcast yesterday where the guest mentioned his uncle (who also had the changed name).

With that name he probably would have been an NFL running back if it weren't changed.
