Oh yeah, nothing more fun than running the same plays over and over versus using the whole eight(?) play playbook. Is it fucking ok I wanted to traditionally run the ball every once in a while?

Son, my official preseason and fantasy football draft t-shirt is the 80s era logo (the green feathered raptor with a football in its talons) on the front, and QB EAGLES with the number 0 on the back.

Mark Howe, right? For like a ~3yr period I *loved* that Flyers team (my first-ever jersey was....Ilkka Sinisalo #23. weird kid, me). I had a buddy who for some reason was a Bruins fan and loved Ray Bourque and I was so adamant that Howe was the better player, criminally underrated.

although that was obviously brutal, Bob Froese was kind of the man for them the next season (although i think that's the year they flamed out against the Rangers?). Then next season was Hextall's crazy-great rookie year. So not to minimize it but I think they just had the misfortune* of being great when the Oilers were The Oilers.
