Nothing irrational about hating Walmart. There are many, many reasons to hate the place. Even if you took out their horrible business practices, their sale of almost exclusively cheap crap from China and the fact that they destroy small businesses wherever they open, I can't wait to get the fuck out the rare occasion I am in a Walmart. I even hate dealing with Walmart parking lots.
