Even I want to call these whiny bitches snowflakes. This stupidity completely waters down real protests, and gives merit to the Right's argument that the Left is intolerant of opposing views. If you don't like Toby Keith's message, don't listen.

"Don't listen" doesn't cut it if we are talking about a city-hosted event.

Now maybe it's going to far to worry about Toby Keith as opposed to someone more offensive, but when it comes to a publicly sponsored or operated event, I think it is fine for the public to say who they want or don't want to perform.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Admiral, seven others charged with corruption in new ‘Fat Leonard’ indictment

Gotta read down in the story for these nuggets:
During a port visit by the Blue Ridge to Manila in May 2008, for example, five of the Navy officers attended a “raging multi-day party, with a rotating carousel of prostitutes,” at the Shangri-La Hotel, according to the indictment. The group allegedly drank the hotel’s entire supply of Dom Perignon champagne and rang up expenses exceeding $50,000, which Francis covered in full.

On another port visit by the Blue Ridge to Manila in February 2007, Francis allegedly hosted another sex party for officers in the MacArthur Suite of the Manila hotel. During the party, “historical memorabilia related to General Douglas MacArthur were used by the participants in sexual acts,” according to the indictment.
So...it was the corn cob pipe, right? Had to have been...

How fucking bizarre. I initially pictured the guy hiring 75 hookers at one time, and thought it was a hilarious revenge on neighbor situation. This occurred over several years, and he just wanted a strip show without paying. the poor neighbors had hookers banging on the door trying to get paid, and pimps looking for payment, without knowing why. Could you imagine? And they have kids.

That is absolutely one of the most bizarre stories I've run across. I mean, obviously the guy isn't right in the noggin, so I hate to get all logical on him, but...

How, exactly, did he think this was going to turn out? Not paying them is pretty much the clincher that he was screaming to be caught.

Maybe I'm just naive, but was anyone else surprised there were 75 active hookers in an Omaha suburb?

We visited the catacombes in Paris a couple years ago. So many people go there, I can't imagine the kids getting lost and not found .

a) I never would have broken into the catacombs for an adventure.

b) If I had, and if I was one of those kids, I;d have been dead of fear by the first morning.

The article said the boys were "suffering from severe cold but otherwise unharmed," then said the temperature is 59 degrees F in the tunnels. 59 seems pretty warm to be suffering from.

Maine woman attacked by rabid raccoon drowns it in puddle
Connecting the dots quickly, Borch, then on her knees, dragged the still biting raccoon, which was scratching frantically at her hand and arms, into the puddle.

“With my thumb in its mouth, I just pushed its head down into the muck,” Borch said.

With the animal belly-up, she held its head under water. “It was still struggling and clawing at my arms. It wouldn’t let go of my thumb,” she said.

Borch said she held it there for what felt like an eternity until finally it stopped struggling and “its arms sort of of fell to the side, its chest still heaving really slowly.”

Hyperventilating and in hysterics, she pulled her thumb out of the raccoon’s mouth, “and then I just bolted as fast as I could through the underbrush,” she said.

Borch remembers looking back once to see if the raccoon had started chasing her again.

“It felt like [Stephen King’s] ‘Pet Sematary,’” she said.
