Jon Erik Hexum.

And I am proud to say that I knew this fact off the top of my head.

10 Swamp Shekels if you can tell me the show he was filming.
Wracked my brain,.. but it's not coming.

I do remember that Jennifer O'Neil was part of the show - or a movie he had been in.

Cover Up, but you get 5 shekels for Jennifer O’Neill (been married 9 times to 8 men, accidentally shot herself in the stomach once).

9 marriages? Yikes.

Just looked her up on the Google to share images because I remember her as being really, really hot.

Meh.

Hockey hall of famer. In 1967, he won the Norris trophy, awarded to the best defenseman in the league that season. Holds record for most games played for New York Rangers, who retired his number.

I love listening to his guitar. Pulp Fiction wouldn't be the same without him.

But tbh, I thought he was already dead.

Shawn Smith, of MotherLoveBone and Brad
Seattle-based Singer Shawn Smith had died at the age of 53. The cause of death of the former Brad, Satchel and Pigeonhed singer has not yet been confirmed.

The news was confirmed by a number of fellow musicians, including Posies founder and occasional R.E.M. member Ken Stringfellow, who wrote, "So sad to wake up to the news about the passing of Shawn Smith. Shawn and I shared a mutual close friend, and thus Shawn would frequently house sit for me when I was on tour, writing (and sometimes recording) on my piano.
April 5th...rough day for Seattle Musicians (also the day that Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley died.

Oh man just listening to one of his albums on the drive up to Reno. Satchel is one of my favorite “secret” bands of the 90s that never hit it big for some reason.

Here's "Wrapped in My Memory", used over the end credits of the Sopranos episode "Long Term Parking".

All those hall of famers on the 1960s Packer teams, and Vince Lombardi once said Forrest Gregg was the best player he ever coached.

Mini rant:

Nipsey Hussle was murdered on 31 March. By nearly all accounts he seemed like a good person that wanted to help in the community. He actually wanted to meet with local law enforcement to find a way to reduce gun violence. That's admirable. So his death was made that much worse considering he was shot to death.

However, it's been two weeks and he's been venerated over and over to the point of deification . Like, I get it. People grieve differently and this incident was tragic. But this is just too much. He was a person who wanted peace in his community, not the second coming of Christ.

I have kids - I know the difference between the Nipseys ("Nipsies?").

In searching for a Nipsey Russell clip I found one of the worst, sloppiest and most racist skits imaginable.
