Not that it took all that long, but piecing together what everyone was tweeting about was quite something.

I'm pretty confused. We went from buy a Switch to Madden to Stormy Daniels?

Speaking of which, we went with the Switch and Super Mario Odyssey. Mario Kart will probably be the next purchase (along with additional controllers), but I bet it will be flying off the shelves.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is, if you didn't already play it on WiiU, also a pretty decent purchase.

This is the first console I've embraced the digital format if availability of releases worry you. Got a pretty big SD Card on Amazon and I've decided to try and make most of my purchases digital (unless I see a physical copy of something wildly discounted). So in short you can do that and not worry about driving all over hell's half acre to find a copy of a game anymore.

Yep, and it's pretty awesome not to have to worry about kids losing tiny cartridges or scratching discs for a portable console.

anyone playing FIFA 19?

I was very good on FIFA 17 ... terrible on this game

I figure with my lessening time for video games, I'm set for a while with FIFA, NBA 2k19 and the F1 game for a while. I got a free download code for the NASCAR game and have played it once.

Yeah I’m basically down to two active games at any one time and Madden is always one. And I’m still on the gronk cover one.

I deleted that one to make room for FIFA. the madden theatrics drove me crazy. I just want a football game that allows me to play football.

I play offense only. I want something where I can finish a game in less than thirty minutes.

I think I’ll cave and buy spider man soon.

I was pm Madden25 for a long time, and Madden 10 even longer before that (10 was the last really really Madeen game IMHO.

Got 19 because its on PC and I can play with a buddy...it's not bad. The franchise is ok, hate drafting and some of the controls (R1 and L1 should always be juke,) otherwise I'm a 2k or GTA guy.

I'm looking for a good pick-up-and-play sports game I can play with a 7 y/o boy and a 10 y/o girl, easy enough controls for Switch, but something I can pick up and still school their asses if they're playing as Barca or the GSW. FIFA 19 or NBA 2K19?

Both FIFA and NBA 2K19 are intricate. And I went from scoring 4 goals a game to being in 0-0 draws from FIFA 17 to FIFA 19 on the same level.

I'm actually worried about my ps4 and how much I'll be able to play at one time. My fan gets into overdrive almost all the time now. I have a stand that circulates air through it and that helps, but I'm worried about the load on the new game.

The fan on my PS4 (not the Pro version) gets a good workout when I play it. However, you have to load 90 GB of data before you play it (it's the first game of this generation that has a dedicated data disc that requires a one-time load)..

No idea if EDSBS is on the Fullcast, but he's been pimping RDR2 on Twitter for a couple of weeks now.

I guess that's because of the 90GB extra stuff disc Mr. Root mentioned.

Put up Steam, PS4, and XBox One (ha ha losers) so far. Feel free to add others.

No you can download the game. It's just freakin huge. The disc version alone requires 90 GB of data to be stored on the system. So you're looking approx about 105 GB to play it.

Ha! I bit on the PS4 last autumn. Played Dishonored 2 (great game, but it was too derivative of the first version), and started another character on Skyrim.

Haven't played it much the past several months though. I do have that recent EA Sports golf game. That's fun enough, but not good enough to justify the $ I spent on the system (my PS3 works fine enough for EA Golf games)...

But yeah, Red Dead changes the whole dynamic.
