He's a well-written SOB, that's for certain. It made me realize how stupid Dutch van der Linde really was. How easily exploitable that type of mindset really is.

My biggest problem with the game story-wise is that Dutch never seems like someone a reasonable person would want as a leader. From the start, he's a pompous blowhard who's rarely seen doing anything to help the group and is constantly making blatantly impulsive, irrational decisions. He's almost like a cult leader. It's really a stretch to think so many apparently world-wise people signed up to be led around by this guy.

Definitely caught the cult-vibe. People initially went west to make a life for themselves. Then you had Civil War veterans looking for work that headed west, many of whom were drawn by the Gold Rush (most to become cowboys/ranch hands). Then you had the stories of lawlessness that crept back east. The lure was there for a criminal mastermind. Or rather, for those who were willing to follow one.

Looks like they do in some/most cases. Seems like the key is to look for the Apple icon on the store page to check the compatibility.

I just got to looking, and while the one I would be most interested in (KOTOR2) is supported, it would likely require a controller, and since I only play computer games at work(!) that won't work for me. Thanks for the offer, though!

FIFA loses the license to include Juventus in FIFA 20...apparently a big player plays for that team. Dropped EA's stock > 3% on the news. Time to start wearing the Black and White stripe kit of Piemonte Calcio

So I have been playing Madden's new QB1 mode in advance of the rosters being finalized before I start a franchise. Getting a sense of the controls and whatnot. Anyway, the premise is you're a hotshot recruit and you pick one of a few teams to play college ball for. However, you get recruited over immediately and the other guy starts for four years until he gets hurt just before the playoffs. So your guy gets the shot. Any way, blah blah blah I didn't do great and end up being a 4th round pick for the Bengals. Bengals right tackle is rated 67. In consecutive games, I was sacked 11 times by Myles Garret then 10 times by Demarcus ware. Fuck this bullshit, I didn't want to play for the bengals anyway.

I occasionally play World Golf Tour on my Mac. It's web based, but unless you pay to buy the upgraded clubs you're gonna struggle a bit.

I turned off Superstar X Factors and it's much more enjoyable. Though I started a new career, ended up with the dolphins and my right tackle now is rated 65!

Hilarious. I did pretty well in the bowl games, did shite in the combine, went 4th round to the Bengals. I dumbed down the AI so I could learn how to play as well as relax while I play rather than have 7000 INTs (I did this after I threw 6 against the 9ers)

I tried to play a game or two outside the QB1 and sucked because I was so used to the WR or RB doing the moves after the catch/handoff. Have to get back into it.

You get some of the typical DB/s linebackers making sudden lurches to intercept, but it does punish you if you throw it to the wrong spot for sure. Sacks were my biggest issue. I GOTTA GET THROUGH MY PROGRESSIONS!

Yeah, in my season he was unstoppable. Like 1800 yards and 15 TDs. but i didn't make the playoffs.

Just bought Madden yesterday. First time in maybe 6 or 7 years. Really thought it played well until I lost by 3 because the kicking meter didn't show up for my two 4th Q field goal attempts, including the last play of the game. Remember when games were ready to come out when they came out?

I don't think that's been the case for any EA game in the last 15 years.
