Yes, there are 3 par 3's on the front but still a par 35...same as this course in SanFran.
How did you do one 510 yard par fours then?

I’m messing. It’s a good score for sure. I suck at golf.

I know. It's crazy. The first par 5 is like a short par 4 there.

I played great this weekend. 79 saturday, which included a front nine 35. Yesterday the course was pretty slow so I played two balls and went 79 & 74. The 79 included an eagle, while for the 74 I only had 26 putts which has to be a record low for me.

Have been continuing to hit the range at least once a week. Really focusing on iron accuracy, and will continue to do so. I play with a strong grip, so have to fight my tendency to turn it over. With short irons I’ve been doing the opposite and flaring things right.

Awesome! What part of your game improved so you could shoot so low?

Now cut that out!

I rarely have a good round with the driver - today was decent, but most every drive was straight. Long irons were the best I've ever shot. My short game is usually good, and today I was putting well. Everything was just in sync.

No doubt I'll be back in the low 90s on the weekend, but it doesn't matter. Today was golden.

Sorry to hear this. You were missed.

But yes, we had a mini Swamp golf outing Friday afternoon at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace just south of Dayton, Ohio. Participants included AB, BSF21, Mulligan and myself. Many beers were consumed, lots of grass was killed and BSF still hasn't figured out bad things happen when he uses a cell phone on a golf course.

Unfortunately, none of my pics turned out, so I don’t have any photo evidence this event happened.

Mulligan had the lowest score with an 84, followed by Sabo with an 88, BSF with a 96 and AB bringing up the rear with a 99.

We also had a $2 per hole skins game with skins carrying over on pushes. Mulligan won the most skins with four, with Sabo and BSF also carding three skins. AB had one. BSF won the most money because his first skin had a four-hole carry over. Here were the payouts:

BSF: $14
Mulligan: $10
Sabo: $6
AB: $6

A good time was had by all, and we’ve had some initial discussions of doing this again in September. Other Swampers are more than welcome to join us!

It's not UK-branded, but is is very very blue. Friend gave me a few of those last year because he can't read product descriptions on Amazon and bought six six-packs of gloves.

IN his defense, he is single and buys stupid shit all the time.

ETA: The three wood and hybrid headcovers ARE UK-themed!

3 wood is also 25 yards short to make 18 in 2 at Yankee Trace if anyone is wondering.
