Never been, didn't know about it. But saw this piece linked on Twitter from the NY Post, read it, and was amazed. I assume the sizeable Jersey contingent on here has memories of this place?

I think it's heyday predated my arrival in NJ, though a lot of people have stories about it. One of those ridiculous things people take pride in for some reason or another.

This site has a pretty good write up on the history of the place, and it looks like they've maintained it through the reopening this spring.
