For posterity, it's always fun to go back and see the old avatars. In the early days, it helped me formulate who people were, before FB and people posting pics of themselves, meeting people etc.
I thought of this to recognize Rex's new avatar, which is an all-time great. "I learned it by watching you!"

Where are you going back to view these avatars?
The only thing that immediately tracks my memory that's avatar related was Hood starting a thread saying that "a new member seems to be solid for the Swamp, but has an unfortunate avatar."
It was mine. And it was Varitek pushing A-Rod's face. Little did I understand the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry in here when I finally started posting.

Not counting avatar bet losses, I think I've only had like 4 avatars in over 10 years. I had Jamie Powell for a long time.

I'm not going back, the original Swamp had a thread where people posted their previous avatars when they changed them. Every once in a while, I'd go back.
It is shocking and sad that the younger sister on Charles in Charge is now much hotter than Nicole Eggert. At least the last time I saw them 5 or so years ago. Nicole blew up and was obese. The other one got hot.

I know it's a ninja rubber ducky, and as such is both not real and a ninja and therefore doubly capable of performing amazing feats, but how is it gripping it's little ducky throwing star with that part of its wing?

It's a spongelike ninja duck. It's a masterpiece. Do you look at the Venus De Milo and say, "yeah, but she hasn't got any arms?"
The real spongelikeninja was the first person to notice. He texted me about it a few days ago.

This response isn't getting the Swamp love it deserves.

For some reason (the rocks in the background, I guess?) I keep seeing steve's current avatar as a B&W version of the Houses of the Holy album cover. Then I glance over to the left and remember it's John Cleese. It's happened a couple of times during the recent stevaissance.

Not appreciation, just wondering what the/who the hell is MisterD's current avatar?
Never noticed until Rass turned his avatar upsidedown. but the pirates logo is the side view of cock and balls with ball hair, done in an artsy block style.

I never noticed that either, even tho I see that logo thousands of times over the course of a season. And when it pertains to graphic artists, there are no coincidences or accidents. Whoever designed that is probably still giggling.

He's been here before. I was a bit of a Blue Jays fan when I was in my formative years (summers in Toronto, well Port Perry.)

Buxom: With her hair pulled up into a taut bun, she certainly appeared younger than her 49 years - especially in the chest area, where she was particularly perky
