My naive impression of Arnold the movie star was that he didn’t care about shit like that and once committed would do what was best for the project.

One of the best ever Late Night With David Letterman gags was showing Kotto, who is descended from African royalty and of course a fairly well-known actor at the time trying to hail a cab in NYC vs. an average white guy.

I mean, he was Professor Tanaka in the WWF. Maybe Dawson slipped and they just kept it.
