In case you were wondering, the answer was Brown.

No one likes a "bad beat" story, but...

I left the following WRs on my bench - Brown, Smith Sr. and Alshon Jeffery.

With God as my witness, I was positive that Jeffery and Smith weren't starting.

Good thing I had Allen Robinson, Kamar Aiken and Marshawn Lynch filling those three spots.

Yes, I lost.

I lost 202.6 - 202.5 this week, getting a two point deduction on a pick from Flacco on the last play of the game last night.

I'm in a league with Rush and that happened to me. The worst part I was down my less than 1 and that league inexplicably gives 1 point to the arbitrary home team. I ended up winning by 1 somehow (lost my other league by .3 that week).

I feel your pain. Lost by half a point when Gano kicked a field goal at the end of the Panthers game. Fucking Miles Austin dropping the easy first down catch on 4th, which would have run the clock down, so the Panthers could run out the clock if they got the ball back. Then the Panthers being stupid risking the FG attempt in the first place, which the announcers said a few minutes after I yelled that at the TV. Also sucked that I started Gates, because everything I read said he was active, then he sat out. Who told me he would be good for the season?

I was smart this weekend and picked up Ladarius Green. I also made the right call and started Charcandrick (sp?) West instead of John Brown.

My team is on a one game winning streak as a result of these brilliant moves.

If Charcandrick West was available in your league, then you must have very few teams, very small rosters or very unknowledgeable people. In both of the two leagues I'm in, he was snapped up the first second it was possible after Jamaal Charles went down.

No - 12 guys

I had 3rd priority on the waiver wire, so the other two must have been asleep. It's a pool where half the guys are sharp, the others not so much, and one guy never makes any moves.

I am so fucked at RB in DSafe's league. With Randle hurt and DeMarco Murray on bye, which two RB4s would you start:

James Starks @Den
CJ Spiller vs. Giants
Branden Oliver @ Baltimore
Knile Davis v. Lions

Starks was a UB Bull, so I have to play him. Knile is a cool name, but his1 touch a game probably isn't enough to start him. Did I mention how much I hate my team?

With any luck, I'll be able to put you out of your misery in three weeks.

Yes, I was trying to pick up Oliver this week.

Eli has been a fairly mediocre QB this year. I benched him for Derek Carr who has been slightly better as far as my league's stats are concerned.

Of course Eli goes for 50 fucking points. Of course. This is why I stopped playing fantasy football so many years ago. It's like playing roulette every friggin week.

Luckily I'm up by 28 and he has ivory and Decker to go while I have Carr and James Jones, but still. It's the principle.

Just waiting for him to get hurt to justify not drafting him.
You like Eli better than Dalton? We disagree.

Fuck you. I ended up picking up Dalton that week, and played Dalton over Eli today. Cost me not only the game, but the lead in the highest QB weekly score, which bags money. Eli is so fucking hit or miss.

So I just pulled a trade in my dynasty league. Full auction, 10 keepers, $300 roster

I traded:
Drew Brees $37
Justin Forsett $13

for:

Adrian Petersen $34
Donte Moncrief $12

It is a $2 bump to keep a player next year.

I have David Carr @ $3 and had no plans on keeping Brees. I have Charcandrick West, TJ Yeldon, and Jeremy Langford to round out my RBs.

I have Keenan Allen and Jamal Charles on IR for the season.

In all, I like the trade for you.

Dumping Brees at the likely peak of his value was a good move and getting Peterson is a win (or at least contend) now move.

I like getting a young, potential WR1-type player (Moncrief) who has a star QB on his team. Carr getting Cooper this season has jumped his fantasy upside considerably.

I think the Bears will end up re-signing Forte for 2-3 years after this season, so I'm not sure on Langford long-term, but that's a decision for down the road.

Completely agree. I'm thinking about making a trade in a keeper league. I have Rivers and Luck, and the most pathetic RB corp ever. I'm thinking I try to trade Rivers over Luck, and hope Luck can turn it around next year. I'm in the hunt, but my team sucks so bad, I'm thinking about next year.

I am currently 6-2 and, unless my team melts down, I expect to be in the playoffs.

Moncrief only has to be a guy, not the guy. But, now I am counting heavily on Allen Robinson to lead my receivers.

Luck at home against Denver or Winston at home against the Giants?*

Yeah. I am going Winston. Weird. I have Luck in a 2 qb league, so will have him starting in that situation, but don't think doubling up on him makes much sense at this point in terms of starting him him two leagues.

Yeah, it's a no-brainer IMO. I've benched Luck for Rivers for weeks. Despite poor play in real life, Luck has put up pretty good numbers, almost entirely in the second half of games.

The guys from Elias just checked in, and record for "most blatant dereliction of duty by TT" is still held by the fallout from the evening someone made him a Swamp mod.

Sybian, thanks for beating Sabo this week to give me two games of breathing room in the division/playoff race.

Sabo, I may or may not be open to lineup suggestions the final week if my playoff spot is locked up.
