Wings may have gotten into the Blackhawks' kitchen with this game today.

Every time I looked up it seemed like one of the Red Wings (usually Ericsson) was knocking Jonathan Toews on his ass. I think he is definitely affected. Refs last night were letting the physical play go, and the Wings defense rolled hard with that style of play.

Yeah, that was a fun game to watch. Bickell, in particular, looked like a head case.

Funny Sharks/Kings game last night. Sharks dominated the first half of it and L.A. dominated the second half of it. But, I'll take the win and now we move to a two out of three!

I thought something was wrong with my tv. I don't need a colour tv for this series (games played in SJ anyways)

Pretty sure Moore has been on the ice for every Capitals and Bruins goal this postseason.

Fortunately I can't watch because I'm still at the office, but what the fuck is up with Toews?

Three penalties this period?

He arguably could have been called for one or two more. A complete (surprising) lack of composure in a big game.

It's one of those goals that looked easy in real-time, but appeared much more difficult as they slowed it down.

As of right now there are 6 teams left in the playoffs - the last 5 Stanley Cup winners and San Jose.

If Chicago and LA win their home game 7s, it'll be the last 4 champions in the final four. That's probably never happened anywhere.

Kings finish off Sharks. Great series. Anyone still pedaling the "Sharks choke in the playoffs" narrative is just lazy at this point.

Well, right now, the five teams left are the last five Stanley Cup Champions, adding Detroit to your list.

Gentlemen, do we have a preferred streaming site at this time? I had previously gone to firstrow.eu, but that is no longer in service. I and a few bleeping Blackhawks fans thank you in advance.

It worked for me for Game 2 a couple Saturdays ago, because my one of my internet/satellite providers was an option in Las Vegas (I believe it was my internet provider that worked). However, neither are options in Oklahoma City.

Surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but Torts was fired today.

I think it was a hasty move. Were this a full season, or had the Rags not made the playoffs, it would make more sense.

Think the players and management are just tired of his schtick and negativity.
Benching Richards (one of his greatest supporters) was probably the last straw.

I don't have the details but I heard that Lundqvist gave the Rangers an ultimatum in his exit interview (he goes or I go) which probably led to the firing this quickly.

26-18-4 and a first-round win over a division champion didn't get him fired. Vancouver media, even yesterday, have been going on about getting Torts to coach the Canucks.

Thanks, Trav. I agree. It was a great series. Could've gone the other way, but I can't be too upset (but I am bummed, for sure.)

Funny, I was in NYC a few days ago and the local media was batting around Vigneault's name as a possible new Ranger's coach.

Hawks caught on a change, give up equalizer in the first minute of the third. 1-1; hawks failed to step on their throats when they controlled most of the second.

ETA: Zetterberg, from Nyquist and Cleary. Sorry, I'm not practiced at this.

Media in Toronto (where there is no vacancy but so what) and Vancouver both now hankering for John Tortorella. But you know why, right? John Tortorella needs to be a coach in a city where hockey is third or fourth fiddle. He's so willing perform ludicrous clown antics that the media in Vancouver would do everything they could on a daily basis to get a completely idiotic sound-byte out of him just for the sake of it. Toronto? Oh, man, the media in Toronto is such a tabloid/scandal rag crew that they'd eat Tortorella alive in a few days and hockey is THE only sport in that town.

Torts should be on the phone with Tom Gaglardi down in Dallas every day reminding him how much he loves, oh let's say, horses, guns, smoked brisket and Canadian oil magnates.

He's got about 20-minutes of ice time so far. And he's a -1. With only one shot on goal.

Both of these teams look very tired. And the ice looks awful which is odd to see in Chicago. (Stones concert in there last night certainly didn't help).
