I haven't had any issues, and I've been using Private Internet Access (https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) to bypass the local blackout issues.

No, no, I don't have any blackout issues because I live in the unfashionable northwest quadrant of Hell.

It took a couple of months last season, too. Frigging with it. The fucked up thing is that the CFL, PGA, TSN everything else apps are all free. And the one that I actually pay for is the one that doesn't work.

I'm thinking shotgun rampage. Who's with me?

I've had serious problems on the iPhone. Mostly with video, audio is mostly OK. But I've barely used it on my phone. The website on a laptop is fine.

So if you press this thing, hang on, touch that with a thumb, no that doesn't work, click, no, unnngh this, nope, maybe forefinger, nah that doesn't work either. So if you swish this or swoosh that? Hmm. No. Poke? Plink? Swipe? Gak?

This is why I have a rotary phone.

Is there a "remember me" option, and if so, is it checked?

Have you tried a deinstall/reinstall?

Anibal Sanchez is two innings away from what would be a pretty good pitcher performance if you know what I mean.

Two walks. Meh.

(101 pitches through 7.1; 67 for strikes. 8 Ks. Now three walks.)

ETA: sorry, but this shit drives me up a wall when professionals do it. Hey Ryan Domit; five straight balls, he throws you a 1-0 breaking ball. And you swing at it. Really.

ETAA: Home plate ump got into the spirit, calling that high strike three to end the eighth. Three more.

114 pitches through 8 innings. There's a non-zero chance (slim, though) he gets pulled as the Tigers are serious about keeping pitch counts down for their starters this year, especially ones they just gave monster contracts to. But Leyland will probably give him about 16 pitches to get it done. If he can't do it in about 16 pitches it probably isn't going to happen anyway.

Mauer breaks it up. He was 4-for-8 coming into the game against Sanchez. Not a dominating performance, especially considering it's the Twins, but Sanchez looked pretty damn good.

That's the third no-hitter broken up by Mauer in the 9th inning, which tells you:

a)how much the Twins suck.
b)how good he is.

Verducci realizes how good Manny Machado is already. He has 21 multi-hit games in 48 games this year. He also leads MLB in doubles. He's also a vacuum at third (which he just started playing last season).

Verducci wrote:Machado at least has put himself in the conversation with Mike Trout and Bryce Harper in terms of their impact on the big leagues at such a young age. Through their respective first 98 games, Machado has more extra-base hits (46) than did Trout (38) or Harper (34), though keep in mind that Harper was a year younger than either one at that junction. Here are the numbers for Trout, Harper and Machado through their first 98 games:
Player AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB AVG OBP SLG OPS
Trout 359 71 107 21 3 14 49 26 .298 .357 .490 .847
Harper 379 65 95 16 6 12 36 13 .251 .326 .420 .746
Machado 394 56 117 29 5 12 54 4 .297 .329 .487 .816

Those guys are just about as good as Joe Charbonneau. Through 98 games, he was .290, .363, .478, .841.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Angel Pagan two-run homer to beat Rocks 6-5 in ten innings. Inside the park HR. His third career.

Best part is third base coach Tim Flannery. He is going to get tagged out one of these days--he runs with the runner down the line to the plate.

Jose Contreras has no business being placed into a winnable game. He should be DFA-ed. About an hour ago.

That was pretty grim yesterday. Not a whole lot of work out there for 41-year-old pitchers who can't throw strikes.

Yeah, that's all on Hurdle and his love of veteran players. There are at least 10 better options in the minor league system, and I don't think that's an exaggeration at all.

What a waste of a rare off day for Cabrera and a decent showing against Verlander!

Victor Martinez was an assassin.

You had to figure when Jennmar Gomez & Rick Porcello get together that it's gonna be a pitcher's duel.

Jeanmar has somehow been really good for a few months now.

Kind of figured Porcello would mow them down, but I did not expect zero runs.

Tigers & Pirates each get a guy to 2b in the 8th. Both rallies quickly wiped out. Can't predict ball. (Get a guy to 2B for the FIRST time all night I should say.)

Neil Walker stole 2nd and got to third on strike three, it looked like.

Meanwhile, not a save or hold situation, so let's save our best two relievers and send a lefty out against the 2nd and 3rd hitters, both righties, one the best player on Earth.
