Sidenote - I feel like the "looking for an EPL team to support" question was a very hot question about 5 years ago. Now, not so much.
I'm not as hip as Mr. D.
5 years ago was when I was moving to CO, I was think of getting into a team but then my winter/spring was taken up by getting married and moving halfway across the country, just didn't get back into it.
I feel like Leicester is fun to support, because they were almost relegated last year, and were expected to be near bottom of the table again this year - but, surprise, surprise, this motley assemblage is right at the top of the standings at the moment! They play a creative brand of soccer, and their top players have interesting backstories, too.
But, Rush, you being a Patriots fan and all, I feel like you should be a Chelsea supporter.

You'd have to fill me in on why, I'm sure it's some "ha ha" reason. Though if I tied teams to other teams I'd more likely go Arsenal, through the Rapids tie in, or Liverpool.

I'm not really up for supporting ManU and the like, but I'd like to watch and perhaps become a fan of an up-and-coming team. I was thinking of Everton to honor our good friend Bensell, but not sure of for and against. Waht say you Swamp?
You have to watch a bit and a team will choose you. Can't force it. You may want to watch a highlight show. There used to be a great one called something like Premier League Review. They show longer clips of highlights with the game announcers, so you get a much better feel for the game than US highlight shows.
this one?
that channel has a lot of good stuff

not sure if the everton goal celebration in the 1st minute of stoppage time was the reason it beyond the 7 minutes given, but the offsides was blatant! this is the second time everton lost in the same fashion this season (first being away to bournmouth.)

Yeah, I can imagine Everton fans being pissed that. On the other hand, it was a bang-bang play and in real-time it wasn't initially obvious who the last header came off of. Obviously in replays it was clearer, but that would have been a tough call to make.
Great escape for the Blues, but dammit if they'd just play with energy for ALL of the game, they wouldn't find themselves in that position. They were sleep walking to start the second half and that's why they went down 2.

Come on you Foxes!
Damn. I posted awhile back of my plan to do that and never acted on it. Go, Foxes!
Such an amazing story, given the so, so much greater wealth and spending of other clubs in the Premiership, and the fact they were viewed as a candidate for relegation this season. (I know you all already know that, it is just amazing to say it.)
But look who's on second. Just watched Tottenham score as one-sided a 1-0 win as you will ever see. Two missed penalty calls and a Watford keeper who was standing on his head.
Outshot Watford 26-3. Crazy stuff.
