That's true. I was trying to avoid having to deal with multiple phones though. But it could be fun to use a burner though.AB_skin_test wrote:If calling each other won't work the way you hope, it might be cheaper to get one of those pay as you go type phones in England for each of you.

yeah, I recommend throwing it away as you board your plane. Just toss it in a trash can. Nothing to worry about.

Probably less likely to cause an international incident that way, but sure, if you wanna give shirley some helpful advice, fine.

If there's still time left on the phone, why waste the minutes? Consider this an excellent occasion to demonstrate American generosity and goodwill by giving that phone to a total stranger on the streets of London. Preferably an immigrant-looking person who surely would only use that phone to practice their English proficiency! Pretty much anyone who is not dressed like you would be an acceptable recipient.

I thought this was timely given the discussion in this thread.I-Penis spoke, and it looks like the CRTC has listened
"The CRTC is also capping extra data charges at $50 per month and international data roaming charges at $100 per month to avoid huge, surprise bills."
Sorry to further jack your thread, Shirl.
