Ummm, Eagles are not kosher.

(Just looked this up - in case you're wondering, no birds of prey are kosher.)

Oriole meat however would be acceptable.

I don't know anyone who has eaten an oriole. I did go to school with a girl who has been eaten by one (Scott Erickson).

Exclusive: U.S. finds long-lost diary of top Nazi leader, Hitler aide
Alfred Rosenberg was the intellectual and philosophical leader who crafted much of Nazi theory and ideology. He was a Nazi before Hitler. Hung at Nuremberg, unrepentant. This could be a great source.

It's a good thing our law enforcement is above any abuse that could result from implementing this. I mean, they'd never use this during a large protest or anything would they?

Meanwhile, at the base I just left:

Entertainment District outside Osan AB declared off-limits

And check out these photos of signs up in the district: (Sorry for such large photos.)

1963 was an interesting year

I don't remember many things from that year. I only have one clear memory (Lee Harvey getting his). But I do remember thinking this was cool. The red team built on their lead with this:

No silly, this is just being done with the consumer in mind.

And just because there are dozens of places in every major city where unscrupulous types can illegally unlock smartphones, that doesn't mean that thieves will ever be able to figure out a way around this.

You just have to learn to trust that your government has your best interests at heart.

Big rugby hit

I would have put this in KTFO except the guy gets up. Makes you realize how overdramatic the basketball and soccer floppers are.

A microcosm of everything wrong with the Air Force in a simple commentary on AF.mil: Filling squares.

Not shocking at all, it's by a SMSgt (E-8, who is no doubt chucking to be an E-9 -- not "Chief") in the aircraft maintenance community from my previous base.

Tony Carr, retired pilot and former AF commander, of his John Q. Public blog went in on him FJM style.

In the takedown he drops along this link regarding Hunter S. Thompson and his adventures in military service. (I had no idea HST was in the AF. Teamed with George Carlin, it makes sense they were like "You fucking serious?" and bounced.)

Hard quiz. Also could be titled better.

I got 83% on the famous/unknown. I suppose that right there is a decent case for their fame, as I am by no means an art connoisseur.

75% for me as well. I think I over-guessed on the "unknowns." I did notice that some looked suspiciously like you-know-who's.
