The Arizona Diamondbacks just put out like 8 new uniforms, not one of which actually say "Diamondbacks".

Are the stars for Cup wins at the Joe?

As was pointed out when the Pens released their 50th anniversary patch earlier this week, featuring three Stanley Cups, do they redesign the patch if they happen to win this season?

yeah Wings have won 4 cups since 1979 when the Joe opened.

When the Oilers and the Wings move to their new arenas, the Flames will be playing in the oldest one (not counting the newly renovated MSG).

And with no solution in sight, not for another 10 years anyways, would not surprise me if there is a risk in about 5 years of Calgary losing it's team.

Fitting a fifth star on there would be a good problem to have.

Agreed. It wouldn't have looked nearly as good as a straight gradient.

Technical term for that would be gradient pattern, since the colors themselves don't actually morph into another shade.

Maybe a practice jersey. I got an e-mail from US Soccer today saying "New Crest,"with a link to the shop. That is the new crest, but that shirt is too damned ugly to be a game jersey. Every item with the new crest said limited edition, so hopefully they aren't planning on keeping the horrible crest.

I thought that was a reminder to players of the limit for a high kick infraction.

I have been so used to the old crest, I haven't given it any thought in a long time. Looking at it critically, it is childish and outdated. I still hate the new crest, it would be fine for a brand's logo, but just doesn't convey "National Team." OTOH, whenever a new logo or jersey concept comes out, I almost always hate it, then get used to it.

Looking back, the USMNT doesn't have a good history of jerseys. Especially the Adidas years.
