Well. You kinda gave up on the entire premise of it then.
Does it get appreciably better? From what I saw of it, it wasn't that funny, the characters were thoroughly dislikeable, and it just seemed shoddily made overall. I've seen a few of Todd Phillips's other movies and am not a fan--they exemplify the trend of "bully humor" that's creeping into comedies, where a movie seems to scream at you, demanding that you find it funny (and Will Ferrell is the Che Guevara of this movement).
