If you have any problems, any at all, send me a PM and I'll fix it. Or, if you can't log in for any reason, you can get me by email at sportsfrog.scottie (at) gmail dot com.

And I believe we follow each other on Twitter as well. So there's that as back-up, too.

Sounds great! I'm going to be back and forth between here and Onterrible a few times in the next few months and will be there for most of May. But I should be here more often than not. I figured that somebody would guess sooner or later, but I was trying to string it along for awhile. I even intentionally dropped the Queen's english and changed my ou's to u's.

Speaking of Appletini Max, has he come over to the new Swamp yet?

No. Sadly, he hasn't. And a Swamp without Gilbert Perreault is, well . . . ah, he's always been swishy like that.

Someone didn't get a football jersey.

Kranepool is good people. I have friends that I've known for 25+ years who didn't even bother with a phone call or text after my surgery, Kranepool touched base with me the next day. Other Swampers did also. TWILTS.

Sarcasm was implied in my comment. I have no quarrel with Mr. Kranepool, who is a fine gentleman.

It can. The only reason I haven't made that change is because I thought the guys would want to use that as a reference for finding older threads.

But I can change it if y'all would like.

Not saying it has to be now, but I think at some point it would be good for the people who weren't following the vbulletin drama and don't know where we went. I suppose we could post something on vbulletin sending people here instead of the bugaloo.

hey speaking of posting in Vancouver AGAIN there's a not-insignificant chance we (the MW klan) may be moving to YVR in the fall. If there are any software-QA jobs that any of you BC chaps know about now's the time to tell me. Otherwise i'm stuck working my boring job out of what'll likely be a tiny bedroom in a shitty apartment....

we also might move to Dublin.

Mrs Max and i are traveling to Dublin next week for a few days then a week in Scotland. That last part will be all about the single malt.

I'm sure between me and Bob Andrechuk, and Hotcakes, we could point you in the direction of a few places. I can certainly see what's available via the contacts I have.

The missus took a GM job in YVR so it looks like we're moving there once we sort out a ton of details. Like, my job for one. And little things like, oh, finding a house.

word, many thanks.

already have Bob A on the tip as well as a few other contacts. Turns out our drummer is dating someone in YVR (inconvenient) and he may move there as well; anyways she's in the industry.

if we did move there we'd look at it semi-temporarily and drastically downsize; 2 kids so looking to enjoy the urban life rather than boring ourselves in suburbia any longer. maybe we'll just build a treehouse in Stanley Park.

Ah, downsizing. Yes. When we moved from one yurt to another, here in YYJ, we got rid of a ton of stuff. Furniture, mostly. But it wasn't enough. We still have to have a gigantic yard sale or something. I just don't need three sets of golf clubs. Guitars, yes. But not golf clubs.

Actually, when we moved last time, we filled a U-Haul. Their maximum size. And we could not have put a paper-clip in it once it was packed; it was that full and it was packed by a total pro who knew damn well how to get everything to fit like puzzle pieces.

And that has to stop.

No kidding. I've thought the same thing I few times. Although I really don't have a lot of "stuff". When I moved from Detroit to Las Vegas, I had one small storage cube full of crap and that was mostly CDs that I probably should have just digitized and a bunch of miscellany that I could probably have lived without, but hey -- storage cube is set price whether you fill it or not.
