My list looks a lot like Sabo's. Would likely be one of:

This would make my short list for sure. Stone's Go-To IPA was really solid. I like The Boulder Singletrack Copper Ale a lot. Anchor Steam is probably the leader in the clubhouse, but I haven't had my Zombie Dust yet!

Stone also has a "Enjoy After" series. That's right up Syb's alley.

For me it would come down to either Flying Dog's The Truth or Union Craft Brewing's Double Duckpin. Keeping it local, it seems.

I'd be pretty happy with either, but have to go with the Double Duckpin.

Founders or any session might be a fine fridge beer, but wouldn't you end up wishing for something beer-ier after a while? It might work as a forever fridge beer with the option to go out, but couldn't be my forever beer.

What do you mean by Beer-ier? Something more Lager-y?

It's on my short list.

Jackie O’s Hop Ryot
Pacifico
Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald
Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold
Founders All Day IPA

Despite the porter being on this list, I'm trending toward lighter beers because I'm factoring in needing a beer when it's 90 degrees outside and I've just finished cutting the grass and when it's -10 and I've just finished shoveling the driveway. A porter fits the bill for the latter but sounds really gross for the former.

More body. If you have a session then a DIPA or vice versa, you notice the pretty huge diff in "weight" or whatever you'd call it.

Tecate is Mexican Budweiser at least if you're referring to ubiquity, popularity and taste amongst beers consumed in Mexico.

Pacifico is vastly superior (in my opinion) to the other Mexican lagers.

Actually drank the Siberian Black Magic Panther a couple weeks ago. Great beer. The Belgian dark candi sugar shines through. Never heard of candi sugar, but this beer had a brown sugar and molasses undertone, figs, oak, tobacco. It was a bit rich by the end of the bomber, but still great. Probably would improve a bit with some age.

Different strokes I guess. I was referring to taste. I find nothing interesting in the taste of Pacifico. If I'm going to drink a Mexican beer I think that Bohemia is marginally better (but that's not saying much).

First off, thanks for linking to a story posted on one of my company's web sites.

Second, this is great because there are some excellent craft breweries in Ohio, and this will allow them even more creativity.

Third, woohoo, high octane beer!

I enjoy a cider from time to time. Great yard work beers. RhineGeist makes two great ones, the Dry Hopped and the Semi Dry.

Sabo and I discussed this earlier. Pacifico is my favorite lighter Mexican beer, Negra Modelo of the darker ones.

I also like Sol for whatever reason but you can put me in camp Pacifico for a go-to.

I've been trying to eat clean and forego booze. I've only been to Marble and Santa Fe. Then had some Boxing Bear, Red Door, and Tractor at various locations in the city. And those were over a month ago. Nothing has really stood out yet. I'll have to try La Cumbre.

If Deschutes would bring back the Chasin' Freshies from 2 years ago I don't think I'd have a problem drinking that forever. IIRC 'twas a citra fresh hop.

That or a Cuvee d'Erpigny or Rochefort 10, just because.

Was looking through my Untappd app at my highest rated beers once I gave Zombie Dust a 5.

My 5 STAR BEERS ARE:

Mirror Pond, Sam Adams Octoberfest, Singletrack Copper, Anchor Steam Old Foghorn Barleywine, GUBNA, Anchor Steam and Zombie Dust.

Theres a Citra Ass Down from Against the Grain in Louisville that is a 4.5, and I assume uses those Citra hops, which is comforting to know that I do like that and it isn't just the Zombie Dust Mystique that made me give it a 5.

Good idea, checking Untappd.

My highest rated is Krusovice Cerne, or Krusovice Dark, as I called it when I had a shit load of it in Prague. It's a dark lager, and not far off from Negra Modelo in my opinion. I got St. Arnold's Black Kolsch (which they admit is not a beer style) recently and I can't stand it.

Lagunita's Brown Shugga'
Gravity Barrel Aged Acceleration (local spot)
Avery Maharaga
Avery Uncle Jacobs
Allagash Curiux
Deschutes Chasin' Freshies (2014 version)

oh and some beer I had from Cambridge Brewing in MA that was a blend of sours ranging in age from 8 years to fresh. Indescribable and one of the best beers I have ever tasted.

Sculpin might be my choice if I could only have one beer. It'd piss off Mr. D, which is a big plus, and what do I care if it destroys the craft brew industry, I can only have one beer for the rest of my life anyways. Fuck the rest of you.
