Rory's gotta be pretty psyched about this weather delay. Not only was he playing poorly, but he gets to watch the Northern Ireland game.

Holly Sonders is younger than I am. I would have never guessed that. She's not even 30 yet.

Spieth also called #18 stupid last year at the US Open but I doubt he felt that way after it won him the tournament.

I was surprised to learn that Lowry is currently way outside the automatic European Ryder Cup places (although a win would change that, I assume). He's pretty legit, I fully expect him to dominate at Hazeltine.

Assuming Lowry doesn't run away with it, you have the three most cursed active players in major tournament golf all tied with each other, and all having to wake up early to play extra holes, while Jason Day sleeps in.

Is there anything more seemingly arbitrary than the on the spot rulings from golf officials?

Every single time, the official has that "I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night" look to him.

Have you ever seen so many storylines developing simultaneously?

The CBS Sports app says it is 102 degrees out there. I'm coming to you guys rather than google or accuweather to verify that is wrong. Yes?

The Johnson situation is fascinating. As I understand it, and thank you to Fox for not making this clear, the USGA is prepared to levy a one-stroke penalty, but they want to give DJ the opportunity to view the video and offer a defense before they make their ruling.

Guess he just has to win by two.

this is crazy, just give him the penalty if they feel it's a penalty. What defense could he have.

I don't know. I don't think he touched the ball. He did ground his club, on the side of the ball, and immediately after lifting the club, the ball moved. I think that makes him liable for causing the ball to move, hence a one stroke penalty.

Where the fuck is AB when he could be useful about something other than bourbon?

I bet someone parked their car a couple inches too far away from the curb near his house.

So the controversy at this point is more how the PTB are handling it. Got it.
