The Glory of Their Times is a great book I read some time ago (and would recommend). It included a lot of edited interviews with old-time baseball players. Rube Waddell was a crazy guy in that book, hence my answer.

QUESTION #6: Name a boxer who held the lineal Heavyweight Championship of the World from the beginning of the gloved era through 2000.
- The "lineal" championship is a way to determine a single champion using a "man-who-beat-the-man" approach after the fragmentation from multiple governing bodies.
- If you don't know a lot about boxing, just name a historical heavyweight you have heard of and there will be like a 90% chance he qualifies.

Completely forgot about that. I debated going Ian Anderson, but had in my mind the answer required primarily known for classical. Avoided Cage for the same reason.
