Ray Lewis nods in approval at destroying evidence.
As to the comments that this would get more attention if a different team were involved, I'm not sure I agree. This has been a massive story here in Boston, and the local media has been reporting a lot of rumors that make Hernandez look really bad. Sounds like he will be very lucky to get the Ray Lewis deal from the DA.

Boston, sure.
I am talking about the national chatter/attention to it so far.
I think that is changing/about to change. He is reportedly being arrested for obstruction (the Ray Lewis) this morning. With further charges possible.

Yeah. If I grant you that the rhetoric would have been different initially, the way this is going I think it's going to be a bigger story for having taken place in NE than if it had been a Cincy player.
Massive problem for the pats. This was supposed to be the starting receiver next to Amendola. Gronk not looking good either. Not sure where you go if youre the Pats. I guess you wait for someone to get cut. Funny thing is I like the running game if Gronk plays. They could win a bunch of games anyway. Not sure if McDaniels is up to it. Ridley and Blount could run behind a better run blocking OL than in past years. Defense is pretty stout. They had good health last year but now they've got legit playmakers at all levels. Maybe you can run if Wilfork goes out but not til that happens.
It's really the opposite of Ray Lewis. Ray's warrant was for double homicide.

Lloyd's sister, Olivia Thibou, said she was glad to hear about Hernandez's arrest.
"God is great," she said. "It's the best news I've had since my brother was killed last week."
I clearly will never understand religious people.

How is punching someone "attempted murder?" I understand that you CAN kill someone with a punch, but I don't think anyone's ever done that on purpose (unless they punched the guy repeatedly).
I get a charge of assault or something, but attempted murder?

B.t.w. guessing the prosecution is pushing with attempted murder on this one.
I know the DTP are pushing for repeat offender status!

Probably said "im gonna kill you" before punching.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

Does it have something to do with how badly the victim was hurt? He is still in critical condition (or was as of this morning). Walcott will probably be charged with murder if the guy dies, right?
They can charge you with whatevs but in a case I was somewhat familiar with - a guy from Westminster who was 27 playing college football because he killed some guy with a punch in a bar fight - you get manslaughter for this. For slaughtering a man!
