That is why I could not be a pole vaulter. (well, and the lack of speed/upper body strength)

Parody. I think the character is hilarious, but it seems to offend more people than it amuses. Which is a large part of the appeal to me.

(And I assume you were not calling the Chinese swimmer the worst human. Although that would be a nice extension of the joke.)

yeah that's sad. Keyboard warriors on top of everything. Another big story was Asthon Eaton being called a traitor for wearing a Canada hat cheering on his wife.

Too bad that pole vaulter wasn't Indian, wouldn't have been a problem. Being Japanese, that is going to inspire some unimaginably weird porn.

If the dancing weightlifter was American, he would have been the most hated man at the Olympics. #KiribatianPrivilege

This video linked at the end of the ass video is worth watching. The slow motion ass jiggle when she dives is lovely. She is gorgeous, too.

Canada wins another Gold. This time in men's High Jump.

I'm only happy about this because the Canadian Olympic women are winning all the medals for our country thus far and encouraging all Canadian women on Facebook to tell us men how much we suck. Yes, Yes, Girl Power... You're forgetting it's about Country not genitalia.

The names on the French basketball jerseys are bugging me. Some have their names completely in the grey, some on the white, and one has her name halfway in each colour.

Dammit, France. Get your shit together.

Are they sweatback names?

That's probably the wrong term but a lot of college basketball teams have jerseys hat show different things when they get moisture.

Not that it's the same level, but I used to go to a lot of women's games when I was at UNM (and a few played on on the Aussie national team) they played in the old gym that had the stands above the level of the net. Was a really great experience.

Who or what gets credit for Team GB's performance? They were 36th in the medal count in Atlanta. 10th in Sydney and Athens. Now they're right behind China for 2nd place and winning medals at stuff they've never been any good at.

Right before the London Olympics, the London IOC did a Talent Identification program. The Girls4Gold program was one of them. You put some money into a program of this nature and you will find some athletes that you can target at certain sports (i.e. body shape for optimal rowing)

She's kind of in a no-win here.

I think she's developed a pretty big chip and at this point feels like if she acts all into it and bubbly she'll be called out for being fake. She KNOWS people are watching. Meanwhile, they show footage of all the girls meeting Zac Efron in a behind the scenes setting and Gabby is right there with the rest of them, all giddy and having fun.
