Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

I'm not sure you could have a "better" bookend piece of shit day than Fernandez and Palmer. I know its cliche, but good god fuck 2016.

Nah, Felix is well past the halfway point. I guess a Len Bias -ish guy would have been slightly more symmetrical, but this is about as bad as it gets.

Anyone else bothered by the folks who keep saying they are going to honor Arnold Palmer by going 1/2 lemonade and 1/2 iced tea when Arnold Palmer has clearly stated the right mix is 3 parts unsweetened iced tea to 1 part lemonade? Just me? F it...honor him with a John Daly.

Yeah, I usually do it about 2/3 tea, 1/3 lemonade but I think you can call it an Arnold Palmer in any case.

I'm a 2/3rds to 1/3rds man myself, but I think as long as it has lemonade and iced tea is the spirit of the thing. Technically you could call a gin and tonic with a tiny splash of tonic a "gin and tonic". Though at a certain point it's just gin.

When mixed equal parts tea and lemonade, the drink is called a Half & Half

NY Times wrote:But Palmer was firm about the matter. “Iced tea has the dominant side; that dominates the drink,” he said in the documentary. “And if it doesn’t, it isn’t really right.” He advocated one-quarter to one-third lemonade.

No. You could mix in chocolate milk, too and still call the drink an Arnold Palmer, and I STILL wouldn't be offended.

JFC.

One of golf's biggest icons dies and the Swamp turns his thread into an argument about the proper ratio for a crappy non-alcoholic drink.

WTF is wrong with you people.

Arnie would have wanted it this way.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

He was very particular about the composition of an Arnold Palmer and was a feisty competitor. We honor him every day we continue this debate.

I once went to a restaurant where they tried getting away with calling an Arnold Palmer a Tiger Woods because, you know, you have to be hip and change things to appeal to the youngsters.

No, Perkins was just trying to hang onto their only relevance in decades.
