But what were his counting stats? That's what matters, right?

Seriously? No "Highway Star?" Half of all metal guitar work comes from that song.

I reject the question and the source.
Justified outrage. However, that song was done around '72-73 as I recall -- and I was a fan at the time so this is pretty close. That might be late.

I went with the earlier and at least as obvious Blue Cheer. I suppose I should not be shocked that this band, that sold perhaps 25 records (I have one), is known to more than just me here.

Fuck. 52 on the sports, which beat Mr. D's total score by 1 point. Glad playing him the week he made the worst question ever wasn't a factor. Got 3 wrong on sports. Tough game.

worst part about the baseball nerd stat question, I have no idea where the leftover answers end and the jokes begin on Ryan's list. I have no concept of what that stat means, but there is no way Ryne Sandberg wasn't top 5 in it. Come on!

Like something where he actually has to take a wild ass guess and ends up wrong? It's crazy. Nice work man. Don't know why I bothered sending answers this week.

I thought of going with Sandberg (or Schmidt) there as well, but had second thoughts because of how advanced defensive stats can be wonky and out of whack with subjective judgments of who is a "good" fielder. I went with Ozzie because I was pretty sure he'd be one of the "safe" ones whose reputation was borne out by his stats.

If I had known how weighted towards middle infielders it was I would have just guessed Trammell or Whitaker. Should have guessed Whitaker anyway since a lot of his career WAR is based on fielding.

Same here...had no clue on anyone else.

I need to remember that Bengal and I are always going to answer the same when something having to do with the Bengals or Reds is a correct answer...I believe this is the third or fourth time we've answered the same.

I didn't even realize that. Does Mike Trout?

I know McCutchen's arm (and terrible routes) really hurts him but didn't know Rickey had a popgun.
