Was anyone else's first thought a Kurt Cobain lyric when they first heard this news?

Mine was is posting "hallelujah" as the title of the thread in the swamp just too wrong

My first exposure to Leonard Cohen was through the tribute LP, I'm Your Fan when I was a college radio DJ back in '91 at USF in Tampa. Admittedly, what attracted me to the LP was R.E.M's contribution to the disc, First We Take Manhattan.
