Still freaky to me when you google someone after something like this and one if the first results is something they tweeted earlier in the day.

Wow. He was on lebatard last week.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.
Re: Alan Thicke
Pretty Canadian of him. While I hate it for his son, as a dad, that's probably not a bad way to snuff it - while playing sports with your son.
Totally Kafkaesque
Re: Alan Thicke
Yup. And only a matter of time here, if you want to go super morbid.rass wrote:Still freaky to me when you google someone after something like this and one if the first results is something they tweeted earlier in the day.

Re: Alan Thicke
Pretty sure he just got a Canadian lifetime achievement award or was about to receive one. Heard him on the radio the other day.
Edit- Must have been a month ago. he was honoured at the Whistler Film Festival.

A friend of mine has been working with him on his new show. He's pretty upset - said that he was a really nice guy.
So Canadian.

Did a 90's sitcom star die this year to complete the trifecta with him and Florence Henderson?

He was awesome on HIMYM. I love guys that can poke fun at themselves. I caught myself singing the Growing Pains theme song on the way into work this morning.

If his death gives us the opportunity to post a recent picture of Joanna Kerns, his tv wife and my first celebrity crush at 11, then it certainly has a silver lining. Here is 63:

Truth.
She was the hottest mom on TV during that show's run (IMO.) I mean, Erin Grey was a step-mom, and she wasn't as cute on Silver Spoons as she was in that smoking hot suit in Buck Rogers.
Um, yes I was a teenager during the 80s, why do you ask?

Had no idea he was such a prolific theme show composer as well.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

There was some competition. Phylicia Rashad, Judith Light, Katey Sagal. Not talking about the Swedish bikini team or anything, but it isn't a walkover.Ryan wrote:Who's the competition? Elise Keaton and Ma'am?Nonlinear FC wrote:She was the hottest mom on TV during that show's run (IMO.)

Deidre Hall from Our House? [Wilford Brimley played her father. She was 39, he was 52!!!]
Looks like she had a lot of work done, but looking good at 67 in this 2014 movie clip:

Whether or not she was IN Our House does not change the fact that Diedre Hall is FROM Days of our Lives and nothing else! The Sybian wrote:Ryan wrote:Who's the competition? Elise Keaton and Ma'am?Nonlinear FC wrote:She was the hottest mom on TV during that show's run (IMO.)
