The Columbus Dispatch is reporting Carlos Hyde, OSU's first-choice running back, has been suspended from the team for an altercation against a woman at a Columbus bar.

The article also mentions starting CB Bradley Roby was arrested in a separate bar altercation in Bloomington, Indiana.

EDITED to indicate he's been suspended from the team until the case is resolved instead of being dismissed.

Sure he wasn't just maybe suspended for the first quarter of the opener? He must have really went to town on the woman to actually get dismissed from the team. Add Hyde to the Aaron Hernandez/Urbz blowback I guess.

These are Urban Meyer recruits - you're assuming they can actually read that sign.

Pruitt, actually these two are Jim Tressel's recruits so no, they probably can't read that sign.

And it's possible Meyer could reinstate Hyde if he isn't charged or is charged with a minor misdemeanor. He did that with Storm Klein last year.
