I like him but in my mind he plays the same character over and over (Get Shorty, Luck, Big Trouble, etc).

I kinda get what you're saying, but it's a ridiculously hilarious character. Out of Sight, for example, arguably the most underrated movie of the 15 years or so, he has a line that makes me laugh every time despite having seen the movie at least 25 times.

(When he asks Michael Keaton, who is wearing an FBI shirt with almost a comically huge font size, if they make one that says "Undercover".)

Played pretty much the same character in his "New Girl" stint as well.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

...whose character has already died. Which I thought was kinda strange since seemed like it would funny to bring him back from time to time, but they would had to kill him off anyway.

Loved him since the tv show Crime Story, a great show that featured many great character actors (Stephen Lang, Ted Levine, Jon Polito).

Seriously though...the word "fuck" makes everything funnier.

I thought the same thing at the time, but at least they brought in Mags Bennett as Nick's mom.

Agreed on Out of Sight. Terrific fucking flick. Love me some Elmore Leonard.

Loved Farina too. His role in Get Shorty is probably my favorite. Love me some Elmore Leonard.
