Gary Locke...WA governor 97-05. Was also the Sec'y of Commerce and then Ambassador to China under Obama.
Total policy wonk nerd. But he did show up on Almost Live (local version of an SNL-type sketch show) with Presidents of The United States of America.

Goddamn....that was a fun team to watch. Kemp, Payton, and Big Smooth. And one of the all time great play-by-play guys in Kevin Calabro. "Flying Chickens in a barnyard!"

Fuck you, Hillary. Fuck you, you selfish, arrogant piece of shit.
Soooo many of us had to hold our noses and vote for you, despite a deep, long held dislike of you and your elitist, out of touch, narcissist bullshit.
Fuck off. Go away. Nobody. NO. BODY. Wants to hear your whining. Your deflection. Your total lack of self-awareness.
I didn't like you before. I'm starting to hate you now. And I don't throw that word around lightly.
Loser.
If she had any pride, she would have committed seppuku on election night. Or at the very least flown off to exile. Every time she opens her mouth, she costs the Democrats support.

This isn't exactly a popular take, but Hillary isn't exactly wrong with a lot of her criticisms. It comes off like sour grapes and might have best been reserved for a couple or few years down the road. Some of the criticism of her comes from some of the same deep-seated misogyny that probably swung the election to Trump to begin with and some is the anger reserved in America for people who lose since we're a nation of winners who hate losers. Look around at any bar tonight in any city in America and there will be some douchenozzle who hasn't even set foot in Massachusetts wearing a Patriots jersey if you don't believe me on that one.
This rollback on campus sexual assault directives is just stupid. Sometimes I think Trump does things solely because he wants to undo whatever Obama did.

Literally his only goal. Because Obama and Seth Meyers made fun of him.

The only thing that woman needs to do is to drink a tall cold glass of shut the fuck up. She needs to go away, because not only every time she opens her mouth, but every time she's seen in the media at all, she costs the Democrats support. She's dead weight, period.
(and I blame Bernie Sanders as much as I do Clinton as being about as worthless a candidate as possible (albeit for different reasons))...

Not to mention that Sanders went waaaaay easier on Clinton in the primary than she herself went on Obama just 8 years prior. I hate to say it, but I suspect that Clinton's book, speaking tour and Verrit shit are part of her plan to run again in 2020.

Trump in a landslide if that happens.
The hubris exemplified by her campaign and superdelegates this last go 'round and stunning loss thereafter should have been enough to end the Clinton political dynasty.

My wife hates Hillary Clinton with a passion. The minutes-long rants in our house had finally, pretty much gone away ... but, then Hillary puts out this fucking sour grapes book. Had to endure another rant tonight. So, fuck you for that too, Hillary. Go away.
And in a passage that will sadden her supporters as much as it satisfies her critics, Mrs. Clinton grappled with her limitations as a candidate and the hatred she generated among Republicans.
“What makes me such a lightning rod for fury?” she wrote. “I’m really asking. I’m at a loss.”
And this is why you aren't the fucking president, Hillary.

If you really want some hilarity you should read about Verrit. Peter Daou is one of the most insane figures in American politics and Hillary's continued work with him is proof of the criticism often lodged against her that she values loyalty over competence.
Most of Hillary's "faults" would be virtues in men or overlooked at worse. Even supporting loyalists makes sense in the context of being vilified in the media and political circles for 25 years. That said - she's never running for shit again and she's entitled to her opinion. Progressives still lick Bernie's balls and many of his political stances are equally as problematic as any of hers and that's not even including his apologism for Soviet communism.

I saw an article where someone posted Trump's first Tweet, followed by a string of videos of Trump saying they all have to go, and some Tweets of Trump saying we need to deport them all. What a fucking shit show. Ann Coulter just tweeted, "At this point, who DOESN'T want Trump impeached?"

I believe if they renew before October 2017 they are good until October 2019. But that's a tight timeline, everyone is scrambling. I hear offices are open extra hours to try to meet the volume. Those that don't make it will be screwed in March unless something is passed by congress.
DACA was definitely a risk. If you were an illegal immigrant all these years, you would have had to for the first time give your info to apply for DACA. Info which can now be used to deport you.

No human is illegal. The word you're looking for is undocumented.

Something I haven't asked but has been on my mind throughout this is how horrible is the naturalization process that we need to go to the level of an executive order to allow people to stay? Then that can get rescinded and then Congress doesn't pass a law and these people are back to being fucked? Am I mixing stuff up? Why can they just be naturalized?

Because that's AMNESTY! And no Republican is his right mind would support that!!!
The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), Pub.L. 99–603, 100 Stat. 3445, enacted November 6, 1986, also known as the Simpson–Mazzoli Act, signed into law by Ronald Reagan on November 6, 1986, is an Act of Congress which reformed United States immigration law. The Act[1] required employers to attest to their employees' immigration status;
-made it illegal to hire or recruit illegal immigrants knowingly; -legalized certain seasonal agricultural illegal immigrants, and; -legalized illegal immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously with the penalty of a fine, back taxes due, and admission of guilt; candidates were required to prove that they were not guilty of crimes, that they were in the country before January 1, 1982, and that they possessed at least a minimal knowledge about U.S. history, government, and the English language. At the time, the Immigration and Naturalization Service estimated that about four million illegal immigrants would apply for legal status through the act and that roughly half of them would be eligible.[2]

Actually these people become more fucked because the government has a record of them now.
And you know what the Republicans will say when they don't pass a law in congress? Obama shouldn't have passed an executive order for y'all to expose yourselves. Obama fucked you over pretending to give you stuff.

degen, you're problem is that you often think that whatever comes out of those morons is bought by anyone other than the truly moronic. Not one person who is actually effected by DACA or any of this would buy that shit.
You can lead a horse to fish, but you can't fish out a horse.
So is it possible that McConnell, Ryan and others forgot that in order to stay in Trump's good books, you have to lavish praise on him (or at least butter him up) constantly?
It's really something that you'd see in a skit, but I can imagine a scenario whereby Schumer arrives for a meeting at the white House and tells Trump that he just played on one of his courses and it was the best golf course he'd ever been at. Or that he had a great meal at the Trump Grill. And now Donald's looking at Cryin' Chuck Schumer in a whole new light.
"beautiful, with an exotic-yet-familiar facial structure and an arresting gaze."
And just to be clear, there is no actual deal yet. Ryan is insisting they just discussed DACA.
Can't be said enough: This is the most dysfunctional presidency in modern times and it's not even close. Carter struggled, but he was just down some dubious policy paths... It wasn't non-stop chaos from the jump.
One of the main jobs of the American President is to convey a sense of command, steadiness, control.
What a fucking joke this guy is.
