Glad he's not hurt. Seems like there's more and more injuries every year. Hate to especially see guys go down in practice/preseason.

Ndamukong Suh is in regular season form already. He put an absolute lick on Trent Richardson, and he has a 15-yard penalty for a late hit on Brandon Weeden.

Browns leading 17-0 early in the second quarter.

This game meant less than a normal preseason game since the Lions & Browns play in the regular season. That said glad that Suh got in the Browns' heads.

Just run up the middle against Suh. But put in the backup QB, because Suh is still going to hit him.

I don't give credit for Schwartz being this smart, but ringing up a bunch of personal fouls and late hits and whatnot on purpose in a preseason game for the purpose of trying to get a team off its game in the regular season matchup would be next level type coaching shizz. Probably 1,000 times more likely that the Lions are still just a bunch of undisciplined idiots (though I didn't see the game, so I'll have to reserve judgment until the NFLN replay.)

And all that said, all I really care about re: preseason any more is that no one gets injured.

preseason sucks

Anyone see that controversial hit by D.J. Swearinger on Dustin Keller last night? Dustin Keller suffered a serious knee injury and is now out for the season, D.J. Swearinger said he hit low because he was afraid of being fined for hitting high.

Not sure why its controversial. Those are the kinds of injuries that are going to happen now. DBs have to be able to hit receivers somewhere. Lower body is a fair target.

The Lions haven't had any players arrested or having psychotic breaks in the entire pre-season. And they clobbered the Patriots without Calvin Johnson.

This was a nice bonus to drafting the Patriots' defense last night in fantasy.

I don't know if this is the right thread, but I do know this does not deserve a thread of its own...

In my opinion, Pete Prisco is now bigger cunt than Peter King. It is important to understand, that I am starting at a pretty base level with these cunts and that they they are both, most certainly cunts of the highest order.

I am just at a point where I believe Prisco is a bigger cunt than King. I believe that Peter King has it in him to regain the top spot in cuntiness. He is quite capable of spewing forth utterly Felch worthy wrongness that only seeks to steal my time on this planet, while at the same time pushing facts from my mind and replacing them with poorly written drivel.

Prisco, you are the king of cunts!

I watch a LOT of college football, more than the NFL and I had no idea Jeff Tuel actually QBed a BCS program. Had never heard of the guy. But not a whole lot of Washington State games are televised, even on the west coast.

When I recently told St. Louis Rams defensive tackle Michael Brockers he was on my preseason All-Prisco team, his face lit up.

"Thanks, man," he said. "Appreciate it. Nice to hear."

That's the reaction I received when I told many of the players they were on my first All-Prisco team. The reason they seemed to appreciate the notice is because almost all of them are young players striving for the big acclaim.

This is the kind of fluff that really pisses me off... I hope the players have an 'All-Journo cunt team' and he is in it.

It is also his 'The Titans have always been shit, but there are always legit reasons why the Jags are not quite there yet' attitude he has. I think he used to beat (like a plasterer's radio) writer at the Jags or was on their staff or something/I don't really give a fuck, you cunt.

Yep, like I said a couple of days ago... This guy is on a golden streak of piss poor writing and the great thing about it (quite like the films of Michael Bay), is that he has no idea just how out of touch and poor his production line of wank really is.

Peter King would be shitting his hoop, if he actually understood just how poor Prisco's columns are, and that his title was actually on the line.

I thought one of the main things that a journo (who wants his/her work to be respected by the majority of readers) is meant to do, is to objectively look at the world he/she writes about?

This guy appears to be on his hands and knees, being spit-roasted by the owners and the coaches. While at the same time, expecting his readers to believe that he is not on the NFL's coin and that he is also not involved in a bit of dogging on a Sunday!
