Shrew/Justin/Ketchup Sawx here. I've managed to figure out that I've been bumped up to Unknown. I accomplished this by using a dowsing rod. Reading the previous posts may have helped but I'm pretty sure this is concrete evidence that dowsing works and should be accepted by the medical community as a legitimate method for treating illness.

After you finish your draft, Yahoo has a "Draft Analyzer" you can pick, that assesses your picks. Kind of bs, because the computer would logically think that one's best possible draft would be whatever auto-pick would have chosen for you.

Having said that, it was a bit depressing to read the assessment of my freshly-picked team. To paraphrase a bit, it essentially told me, "You took too many running backs too early, and the ones you picked were mostly crap anyway. As a result, you neglected your wide receivers, so thus, you have a bunch of bums at both running back and wide receiver. Overall, your team is shit and you won't make the playoffs."

So is the unknown draft on espn set up like our drafts usually are? I did one random draft on ESPN for laughs and it was an auction. Frankly, I'm barely sophisticated enough to so the snake style draft let alone an auction. I ended up with 2 NY Jets at RB because I blew my money in the early rounds. NOt good ones wither--Powell and Goodsen, and Powell is suspended!

From what I could gather, the successful guys in auctions let schmucks like me blow the bulk of their money on premiere players like Adrian Peterson and Arian Foster then outbid me on every other position.

Yeah, they did. I ended up overhauling my team the week of our trade deadline with three trades (six players out, six players in) to get more keeper options for next year and have gone on a four-game win streak that has me still alive for the postseason.

The Rice for Spiller deal was pretty fair, too. Spiller has underachieved like Rice, had an ankle injury at the time, and had not yet had his bye at the time while Rice had.

Of course, I'm likely keeping Stafford and Martin, so thanks for your generosity.

And, yeah, I couldn't believe that guy offered Thomas for Richardson.
